Story
Kitty is a sweet 7-year-old girl who`s a huge love bug! Kitty is the perfect mix of snuggly and playful. She loves curling up with her people just as much as she enjoys a good walk or play session. Stuffy toys are her absolute favorite, and she’s always happy to settle down with a bone or chew afterward. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and currently lives with three canine friends in her foster home. Kitty would likely do well in a home with other friendly dogs or as a solo pup who gets plenty of attention.New people might get a slightly cautious hello at first, but give Kitty a minute and her true personality shines through. She quickly becomes a total love bug who just wants to be close to her humans. Kitty is also a star for vet visits and grooming, and doesn`t mind little car rides as long as she rides shotgun! This pup came to us with several large bladder stones, which were quickly removed. She’s now on the final stretch of recovery and doing great! Kitty is currently working on perfecting her potty training and is making steady progress every day. To keep her feeling her best, Kitty will need to stay on a lifelong prescription Purina Pro Plan urinary diet, which typically costs about $30–40 per month. This special food helps prevent future bladder stones and keeps her healthy and happy. Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.
