Kitty is a fun loving, playful girl who would absolutely thrive in a home with another dog or even two! She can be a little shy when meeting new people and took a few days to warm up to her foster mom, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality truly shines. Kitty tends to be a bit more reserved around men at first, but with a little patience, she will soon be curled up in your lap soaking up all the cuddles you can give.She gets along beautifully with the cats in her foster home and loves playing with dogs of all sizes from 18 to 75 lbs. In fact, she has not met an animal she does not want to befriend! Kitty enjoys playing with stuffy toys, chewing on bones, and zooming around her fenced yard.When Kitty first came to us, she needed urgent surgery for severe bladder stones, a condition she had been dealing with for quite some time. While she is feeling much better now, she does have some ongoing incontinence. She will need frequent potty breaks and can typically hold her bladder for a few hours. She is making steady progress with potty training and does great wearing washable diapers. She also uses Poise liners or potty pads when needed, such as overnight or while you are away.To keep her healthy, Kitty will need to stay on a prescription diet for life to prevent new stones from forming. She currently enjoys her Purina Pro Plan UR food, kibble mixed with a bit of wet food twice a day, and her monthly food cost is about $30 to $40. She will also need check ups twice a year to monitor her bladder health and ensure everything stays on track.At just 7 years old, Kitty still has plenty of zest for life! Name: Buddy Valentine Sex: Male Breed: Lhasa Apso Age: 2 years old (as of April) Color: Cream and Golden Weight: 19.4 lbs Neutered: January 8, 2026 Buddy Valentine is a wonderful foster pup who truly lives up to his name. He is incredibly affectionate and has warm kisses for everyone he meets. He gets along well with female dogs; however, his behavior toward male dogs can be a bit snarky. Behavior toward cats is unknown. According to his paperwork, he was raised with children. I would recommend he either be an only dog or have a female friend. Older children six and above ok. He seems to have a sensitive throat area as he does not tolerate a collar, so a harness is a must. He is very playful and enjoys throwing his bones and soft toys around, though bully sticks are his favorite. Buddy loves running in the yard, but because he may be prone to running away if given the chance, a fully fenced yard is required. Currently, he sleeps in bed with me but is crated when I am away. Meet Miss Marla. Marla is a 4 year old teddy bear mix. I believe she is part lhasa apso, and she is smart and sweet and playful. Marla had a rocky start to her life so far but she is resilient! When I first got her, she didn't know what stairs were. In three weeks she has learned to go up and down stairs, sometimes reluctantly, and she will signal that she needs to go outside by going to the door. Marla is very laid back and quiet, she is not a barker. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so sometimes you have to work with that to get her to do things. But she is trainable!
