She's a sweet young girl with a loving personality and plenty of youthful charm. She's ready to find the family who will make her a cherished part of everyday life. Moni is good with other dogs and children, while her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. At only one year old, Moni is still a young dog. She has plenty of playful energy and curiosity while beginning to move beyond the earliest puppy stage. She would be a wonderful companion for someone ready to continue her training, give her plenty of attention, and include her in their daily routine. As a Maltese/Poodle mix, Moni may share traits commonly associated with both breeds. Maltese are often affectionate, cheerful, social companion dogs, while Poodles are frequently intelligent, playful, people-oriented, and eager to learn. Together, these traits can make Maltipoos engaging little companions who enjoy being close to their people. Her coat will likely require regular brushing and professional grooming to help prevent tangles and matting and keep her comfortable. Moni would benefit from daily walks, playtime, interactive toys, positive-reinforcement training, mental enrichment, consistent routines, and plenty of affection and companionship. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Although Moni is moving beyond puppyhood, she's still young and learning. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so her adopter should be prepared to continue working on house training as needed, leash manners, basic commands, recall, calm greetings, household boundaries, and positive socialization. Maltipoo-type dogs can be bright little learners, and positive-reinforcement training can provide Moni with both mental stimulation and an opportunity to strengthen the bond with her new family.
