Story
Delia is a little ray of sunshine! She’s as sweet as they come, loving, happy, and always ready to soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. Whether she’s cuddled up next to you, napping in a sunny spot, or heading out for a nice walk, Delia is simply happiest being part of your day. She loves her food, her people, and all the simple pleasures in life.
Her foster family shared that she settled into their home quickly, as if she’d always belonged there. Delia is friendly and affectionate, though she can be a little hesitant around new people at first and prefers gentle introductions. She doesn’t like being startled or picked up by people she doesn’t know well, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. She’s also quite vocal when she’s excited or wants to tell you something!
For her age, Delia has a surprising amount of energy and has recently discovered how much fun toys can be. She especially enjoys playing with her foster sister and joining in on daily activities. While baths aren’t exactly her favorite thing, she tolerates them like a champ. Delia came to us from animal control, but it’s clear she was once very loved and cared for—she has wonderful manners and an easygoing nature.
