Story
Meet Buttercup! This adorable 3.5-year-old pup is as sweet as her name! Buttercup is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves going for walks and spending time with her favorite people. She adores women and children and warms up to men with a little patience and a slow introduction. Buttercup has lived with other dogs before and may enjoy a canine companion, but we’re unsure how she feels about cats. She came to BENCHS after her owner had to move and could no longer provide her with the attention she deserves. Now, she’s ready to find a loving home where she can thrive! Buttercup is potty trained to use pee pads but will also potty outside if taken out on a schedule. She has a sensitive tummy and a chicken allergy, which is well managed with a specific brand of food. However, she gets very sick from eating table scraps, so a home with older kids or adults only would be the best fit for her. Whether she’s a Schnauzer/Rat Terrier mix or a Lhasa Apso/Chihuahua mix, one thing is for sure—she’s 100% lovable! If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky companion, Buttercup might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet Buttercup and see if she’s your new best friend!
