Story
Hello, my name is Hattie! I am a 9 year old Maine Coon and Dilute Tortoiseshell mix girl! I am such a beautiful girl with my super soft gray fur and my extra long whiskers! I am very friendly and I love to be showered with cuddles! My purr is so soothing and I just light up the home with my sweet and loving personality! I get along with other cats or would do fine solo! I am a courageous survivor of long term homelessness. My former owner passed away in 2017 and I was abandoned outdoors to survive in a harsh environment. People were not kind toward homeless cats where I ended up. I have a bb in my arm and a bullet fragment in my knee and also suffered an injury to my eye. I am okay, had X-rays, and get around just fine! I held hope in my heart that I would be rescued - and it has happened! I finally get my chance to be a cherished feline family member! I have had blood work, X-rays and also had a dental done- and I am all ready to be hired as your new lap cat! You can meet me in Mesa! My $65 adoption fee includes everything you need to get started: vet check, spay, vaccinations, negative feline leukemia test, microchip, bloodwork, dental, my vet records, my food, new litter box, litter, and New Kitty Perch! If you can give me a lifetime home- keep in mind that I am aiming to live to be at least 18 years old- and if you also have a sold cat history with a veterinarian, please email live.love.meow@gmail.com directly for a matchmaking questionnaire! Or, you can find the matchmaking questionnaire here: http://meowness.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/MEOWness-Matchmaking-Questionnaire.doc

Story
We’re looking to find a wonderful home for our 2-month-old orange Maine Coon kitten. He’s an amazing, loving, and playful little guy, and we adore him. Unfortunately, our allergies have been worse than expected, and we’ve realized he deserves a home with more space and no allergy issues, where he can truly thrive. This is a very hard decision for us, but we want what’s best for him a home that can give him all the love, care, and room he needs.

Story
de Oro (of gold) was taped into a cardboard box and left outside an office. He is very shy, but totally sweet-natured ... in no way aggressive. Having said that, he behaves almost feral if you try to pick him up. He is beautiful and has amazingly soft hair and purrs whenever he is pet ... loves the attention ... but is still working on coming out for attention. He is 12+ years old. Like most rescues, we don't believe he is a purebred anything, but he is so non-aggressive, so soft and has tufts of white coming out of his ears ... like a small Maine Coon. He has white at his throat. He keeps getting prettier and rubs against my legs when feeling confident.. He loves to be around the other non-aggressive cats, but won't defend food against the aggressive ones. On the other hand, he loves Fancy Feast!. We consider de Oro a "project" since we expect him to continue getting prettier and more loving ... but have no idea how long that will take. It won't happen in rescue with other cats. Meet Maine Coon Mickey! If you know Maine Coons, you know he's a big boy ready to give lots of love. He was with his family since a kitten, but landlord issues led to him coming to us. Kids and Mickey evidently did just fine, plus he did live with another cat. At 1.5-years-old, he's a young cat ready to take on the world. And does he like to play! Mickey's adoption fee of $85 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Mickey, our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 602.971.1334. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix.

Story
Maine Coon cats are known for being one of the larger cat breeds. But many female Maine Coons can be on the smaller size, just like this precious girl Minnie. At 1.5-years-young, she's ready for playtime, which might include another cat as she did grow up with another cat. Come listen to her purr! Minnie's adoption fee of $85 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Larry is a shy cuddle bug who loves pets and kisses. He is reserved, calm, and dignified, preferring to eat his favorite Friskie's Shreds with his paw, saving nibbling for dry food. He finds television mesmerizing. His perfect parent is probably another relaxed soul who enjoys quiet company, a good book (or TV show), and who doesn't mind giving Larry cuddles, kisses, and pets in appreciation for his company. He is a bean bag of love. Scoop him up if you are looking for a quiet, loving companion.

Story
Adopting for love and company? Meet Gary! Gary is an outgoing, playful, and confident kitty who enjoys pets, sitting in laps, making biscuits, and sucking on his blanket. Rescued along with his brother, Larry, from a busy parking lot, Gary is looking for a loving, indoor home where he will be treated with kindness, get lots of pets, be surrounded by toys, and grow old with his loving family. Although there are not any children in his foster home, given his disposition, he will probably be fine with animal loving kids. He may do well with dogs that are cat friendly, given a slow introduction.
