de Oro (of gold) was taped into a cardboard box and left outside an office. He is very shy, but totally sweet-natured ... in no way aggressive. Having said that, he behaves almost feral if you try to pick him up. He is beautiful and has amazingly soft hair and purrs whenever he is pet ... loves the attention ... but is still working on coming out for attention. He is 12+ years old. Like most rescues, we don't believe he is a purebred anything, but he is so non-aggressive, so soft and has tufts of white coming out of his ears ... like a small Maine Coon. He has white at his throat. He keeps getting prettier and rubs against my legs when feeling confident.. He loves to be around the other non-aggressive cats, but won't defend food against the aggressive ones. On the other hand, he loves Fancy Feast!. We consider de Oro a "project" since we expect him to continue getting prettier and more loving ... but have no idea how long that will take. It won't happen in rescue with other cats. Ash is a special boy who has overcome a lot in his short life. Found as a kitten on the streets, he came to us with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. In his early years, Ash was understandably skittish, but with time and patience, he’s blossomed into a gentle, loving cat who just needs someone to see beyond his shy exterior. His shy exterior makes him a little more cautious, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest companion once he feels safe with you. He may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll reward you with endless fun and playing! Ash is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can feel secure and loved. She is very vocal and cuddly. She loves to have a conversation and can hold one for maybe 10 min ! She loves to be brushed and is very involved in all . She will make sure you get to the restroom safely and will make sure no predators will come for you 😇

I love my cat so much, she is the sweetest cat you could ever know…our dad recently passed away, and we have to move. We don’t have anywhere to put her. Obviously we want to keep her, I’d love to keep her..but we have no other options and I want her to have a good life..please adopt her

My siblings and I came to rescue together. My brothers were adopted and now it’s my turn to find a loving home.  I am a very loving kittens who love to play with any toy and snuggle with humans. Tibby is grateful to no longer be a stray. She's probably between 1 and 2 yrs old, according to the vet. Tibby knows her name and sometimes comes when called (esp "Tibby wanna eat?"), keeps off the counter, doesn't scratch or tear things up (scratching post only), and doesn't make a mess. Well behaved, not a picky eater. She enjoys play and social time, and to snuggle against you. She actually seems to watch TV. I sometime toss a dry kibble for her to chase, then call her to me to be pet, and repeat. She really seems to enjoy that. She's a bit shy with new people and takes a while to warm up to them. She replys with small meows when spoken to. She's ok w/ being picked up, but not by strangers. My friend has special needs cats and can't keep her. I've been fostering her, but can't keep her because of personal reasons / cat allergy. This sweetheart comes with a litter box, scratching post, and various toys. Feel free to ask any other questions.
