Story
.Willow is a 7 yr old female black and white kitty who needs to be rehomed as soon as possible She was rescued as a kitten in a parking lot. She's a little timid and shy at first but once she warms up to a person she's sweet and lovable.Willow has the cutest little meow. She grew up with another older female cat. They tolerated each other. When the older cat passed away, she was the only cat and enjoyed all the attention. Unfortunately her living circumstances changed and I had to take her in. She is currently in a household with a small dog and another cat. Willow tolerates the dog but absolutely does not get aong with other cat. Willow needs to be the only cat in the household. She would be a great companion for any age.

Story
Sweet, Gentle 8-Year-Old Cat Looking for a Loving Home We’re looking to rehome our wonderful cat, whom we adopted from foster care seven years ago. He’s about 8 years old and one of the sweetest cats you’ll meet. About him, Very sweet and affectionate. He's shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly friendly • Fully litter-box trained — zero accidents • Doesn’t scratch furniture • Doesn’t get on counters • Great with kids, other cats, and dogs • Healthy and easygoing He deserves more attention and time than we’re able to give now with young children in the house, so we want to find him a home where he’ll get the love he thrives on

Story
Tarot is a 6-year-old spayed female we rescued from the street when she was just a few weeks old. She has grown into a sweet but independent girl with lots of personality. She knows how to get your attention and will happily “talk” when she wants love or something from you. She is good with kids and other cats. She is being rehomed alongside her sibling, Louis (Louie). They have never been separated, so we are unsure how they would adjust apart and would truly love to keep them together if possible. We’re hoping to find a loving, stable indoor home where she (and ideally her brother) will be cherished and treated like family.

Story
He was adopted from the ASPCA as a kitten and has been a loved member of our family ever since. He is 8 years old and past the high-energy kitten stage, with a calm, affectionate personality. He’s wonderful with kids and currently lives with multiple cat siblings, so he does well with other cats. He’s talkative, playful, loyal, and very sweet. He loves to snuggle and has the cutest habit of sucking his thumb when he feels cozy and content. He is being rehomed alongside his sister, Tarot. They have never been separated, so we would strongly prefer they stay together if possible. We are looking for a loving, stable indoor home where he’ll be treated like family and given lots of attention and affection. This has been a very difficult decision, and our priority is finding him a safe, caring home where he will be cherished.

Story
Meet the "melt in your lap" cat, Michaelangelo. Michaelangelo, along with his siblings, were rescued from the middle of a busy parking lot. Regularly fed by feeders, the juvenile kitties grew to accept human kindness. Michaelangelo has become quite the young gentleman. He is approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. He was a bit more shy than his siblings (who have already been adopted), but he has blossomed into a loving, playful, happy, and lap loving kitty. Favorite things: cuddling in laps, gentle head and back pets, treats, playing, watching birds through the window, sleeping on his cat post, calm environment. Michaelangelo enjoys the pampering and friendship of his human companion and bonded friend, Butterscotch. He also gets along with other playful, non-dominating cats who don't mind playing chase on friendly terms. He may also enjoy a cat friendly dog. He would be okay with older, kind, respectful kids. Michaelangelo is an ideal cat in many ways. He is a lump of love and will easily capture your heart as he adjust to his new home with his friend, Butterscotch. I am amazed these two sweethearts are still available. If his story, personality, and pictures capture your heart, please inquire to see how Michaelangelo and his friend, Butterscotch, can be forever yours. Notes: Please contact the foster parent directly for questions and a quicker response to your inquiry: kivers@fullerton.edu Please note that Butterscotch is bonded with Michaelangelo and come as a pair. Total adoption fee for both is $300. Kitties are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and chipped. Health records are provided, as are toys, bed/blanket, and current food. Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application for review and arrange a meet and greet with the kitty at the potential adopter's home. We want to ensure kitties are a good match for the adopter and the home is a good match for the kitty(s). Adopting a pet is a life-long commitment, through sickness and in health. We consider them family. Please note that most new pets will need time to adjust and feel comfortable in their new environment. This is natural. Here is information on the 3-3-3 rule: https://companionanimalcommunitycenter.org/your-cat-settling-into-your-home-with-the-3-3-3-rule/

Story
Meet Leo! This boy is 4 years old and is looking for a new place to call home. He was found as a stray who got along with all the feral kitties, but he wasn't feral! He was brought into rescue and the rest is history. This sweet boy is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and negative for FIV/FeLV.  He loves to cuddle and will sleep with you if you let him. He does fine in a crate if he needs to be transported and does well in the car. If you are looking for a sweet boy and don't mind an extra roommate who will ask for food and water, hurry and fill out an application on our website. His adoption fee is $100. A home check is required after a meet and greet. March 16, 2026, 3:33 pm

Story
Do you love cats and dogs equally but can only have one or the other, right now? Forget about choosing between the two because we have Clap Clap Kitty Cat - a dog trapped in a cat's body. You read that right. Clap Clap by all scientific accounts is a cat, but his personality is very much like a dog. He's a 2 1/2 year old, 15lb fella who does not like other cats, loves to play with toys, will come when you call him, rolls over onto his back when getting pets, and likes to chew on things. And to help with his chewing, we do have some solutions and chew sticks ready to go home with him. We know we're lucky to have the best of both worlds with Clap Clap. And you can too! Come and meet Clap Clap at our adoption shelter to see if he's your purrfect cat.No appointments are necessary and you can come see us anytime we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form - this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo without knowing the personality of the dog/cat. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first potential adopter who we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a - 2p, Wednesday 3p - 7p, Thursday 3p - 7p, Friday 10a - 2p, Saturday 10a - 4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
