Story
This is Cleo. She’s 7 years old and is one of the best companions you could have. She loves the sun and LOVES to cuddle. Like she will sit with you all day if she could. After 7 years I’m needing to find her a new home due to my partners allergies. All she wants is love, and I feel like she needs a better home situation. She is very vocal and loves to play fetch. But one thing is she hates being held. She will let me pick her up but never held in my arms. She dealt with some anxiety this past year but has gotten a lot better. She’s really good with people if they know how to respect cats. I’m heartbroken to give her up, but I know I can find her a good home. She’s just the best cat and I hope someone will love her just as much as I have.

Story
Evie was adopted from a cat shelter in 2021. I am just overwhelmed as a pet owner and cannot keep the responsibility or cost up of owning a pet. She is a great kitty/pet. She is skiddish due to being trapped by large dogs in a shelter as a kitten and does not like to be picked up. She does like to come up for head and back scratches, so she is very affectionate. I have contacted the original shelter twice about rehoming her back to them, but they seem to be unwilling to take her back until they have room. Last contact with them, it was suggested she'd be a good barn cat, but I disagree. She is NOT made for that life. She is very sweet, not the best around kids as they scare her, but she's okay with other cats. She will likely be a follower of other cats very easily. She should be around 6 years old this summer. She prefers to be up high or at least in the corner of a room where she can easily survey everything going on. Evie really has the sweetest face and demeanor.

This is “Joy”.  She is a 2 year old  (2024) female, black, brown & orange short haired tabby cat.  She is spayed & current on all vaccinations.  Joy has the sweetest disposition.  She is quiet, never demanding & very easy going.  It’s the moment when you engage with her that you see her “Joy”.  It’s unmistakeable how she lights up with affection ❤️ She is just waiting to bring joy to those who will love her too.  She has shown an obvious positive inclination towards dogs too!  Joy’s personality likely makes her a easy fit for transitioning to her fur-ever home.  Please come meet her & she will bring joy to your heart.  Our adoption process can be started by visiting our website.

Story
Meet the "melt in your lap" cat, Michaelangelo. Michaelangelo, along with his siblings, were rescued from the middle of a busy parking lot. Regularly fed by feeders, the juvenile kitties grew to accept human kindness. Michaelangelo has become quite the young gentleman. He is approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. He was a bit more shy than his siblings (who have already been adopted), but he has blossomed into a loving, playful, happy, and lap loving kitty. Favorite things: cuddling in laps, gentle head and back pets, treats, playing, watching birds through the window, sleeping on his cat post, calm environment. Michaelangelo enjoys the pampering and friendship of his human companion and bonded friend, Butterscotch. He also gets along with other playful, non-dominating cats who don't mind playing chase on friendly terms. He may also enjoy a cat friendly dog. He would be okay with older, kind, respectful kids. Michaelangelo is an ideal cat in many ways. He is a lump of love and will easily capture your heart as he adjust to his new home with his friend, Butterscotch. I am amazed these two sweethearts are still available. If his story, personality, and pictures capture your heart, please inquire to see how Michaelangelo and his friend, Butterscotch, can be forever yours. Notes: Please contact the foster parent directly for questions and a quicker response to your inquiry: kivers@fullerton.edu Please note that Butterscotch is bonded with Michaelangelo and come as a pair. Total adoption fee for both is $300. Kitties are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and chipped. Health records are provided, as are toys, bed/blanket, and current food. Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application for review and arrange a meet and greet with the kitty at the potential adopter's home. We want to ensure kitties are a good match for the adopter and the home is a good match for the kitty(s). Adopting a pet is a life-long commitment, through sickness and in health. We consider them family. Please note that most new pets will need time to adjust and feel comfortable in their new environment. This is natural. Here is information on the 3-3-3 rule: https://companionanimalcommunitycenter.org/your-cat-settling-into-your-home-with-the-3-3-3-rule/
