He is only 10 months old but is already quite large, so he's going to be a very big boy! He is extremely friendly and affectionate and will follow you around looking for pets and love. He gets along great with everybody, including cats, dogs and kids! He was rescued from a shelter in NC and stayed at a foster home down there while he awaited transport to DPR. At his foster home in NC, he slept in bed with his foster mom every night, cuddled on her pillow. He loves to give kisses too. He is extremely friendly and affectionate and loves to make new friends! He gets along great with everyone he meets - cats, dogs, kids, you name it - he's a friend to every nation! He has very soft hair and enjoys being pet and held. When he's not actively looking for cuddles, you can find him playing with his foster siblings or with his toys. He was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina and was fostered down there while he awaited transport to DPR. While in NC, he slept with his foster mom every night. He was great friends with the resident dog too and they would even play with toys together! We were so amazed that the dog (who does not typically like to share any of his toys) would bring his toys over to Davy to play with! He's a great guy and will make a great addition to your home! This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
