Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Sookie! This sweetie pie came to DPR when her mom had to go into a nursing home. She has very sweet and affectionate and really enjoys being pet and loved on. She is calm and has wonderful house manners. She enjoys lounging on her cat tree and looking out the windows. She has lived as an only pet and would probably be content to stay an only pet where she can receive all the cuddles. She is gentle and sweet with the kids at her foster home. She has received 3-year rabies and distemper vaccinations so will not be due for any shots until 2029. This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Paris! Have you ever seen such a beautiful kitty?! She is a striking dilute calico with long fluffy hair and a wonderful personality to go along with her good looks. She is very affectionate and friendly and really enjoys being pet. She is good with the other cats and kittens she is being fostered with, and she gets along well with kids and dogs at her foster home too! She is about 2 years old. She runs to the door to greet you when you get home and she tells you all about her day. She is pretty calm and enjoys watching things from her chair. She's an awesome girl who will make a great addition to your home! She had a corneal ulcer/corneal opacity in her one eye which left a cloudy looking scar, but she does not require any medication, and she can see just fine! This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Story
Buck is an extremely social little Floof. He was abandoned and came into our care with a severe hernia often we see l injuries like this after a cat is kicked. But he never wavered in his devotion to humans! His finders found him hiding in their grill and whiskered him into rescue with his sister Hazel! He is a lap cat for sure and suspected to be under a year old. He has fully recovered from his hernia surgery with out a hitch and he seems to be getting fluffier by the day!

Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ember is a striking long-haired tuxedo boy with a rugged past and a quiet, independent spirit. After spending time surviving outdoors, he’s still learning what it means to feel safe around people. Ember is not a social or outwardly affectionate cat, and he’s looking for a very specific kind of home that will understand his needs. He Like many long-haired cats who have lived outside, Ember came in with significant matting due to moisture and lack of grooming. He’ll need an adopter who understands the ongoing care that comes with his beautiful coat and is willing to help keep him comfortable as he continues to adjust to indoor life.Ember may never be a cuddly companion, but he can thrive in the right environment. He would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with an experienced adopter who is comfortable with independent or semi-feral cats. A safe indoor space, patience, and respect for his boundaries will allow him to settle in and live a peaceful, secure life.If you have a quiet home and a soft spot for cats who just need a chance without expectations, Ember could be the one.

Story
I’ve had her since she was a kitten. The place that we are moving into we can’t keep her and our 1 year old developed allergies. She is a very quiet, independent cat who shows affection. Once she is warmed up she has will give the best cuddles. She is very tolerant with children. We love her and really want someone who will love her just as much.

Story
Layla is extremely sweet and friendly. She will be your new best friend! At 11 years old she is young at heart and loves to play, being petted, snuggling on someone’s lap, and “making biscuits”! She is so vocal and loves attention. She goes silly with catnip! She enjoys finding interesting places to lay, like a box, basket, or bag. She loves treats and toys, especially playing “cat & mouse”! She is spayed and strictly an indoor cat. She will come with a cat carrier, automatic cat feeder, litter box, and fresh bag of food.
