🐻 BEAR — professional people inspector, part-time fluffy supermodel. Bear is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix who has one very important question when meeting you: “Are you cool people?” 👀 She may be a little shy at first, because this girl does not hand out friendship memberships to just anybody. 😂 Give her a minute to observe, investigate, and complete her background check. Once you pass? You’re in. ✅ Then Bear is ready to hang out, soak up the good vibes, and show you the sweet girl hiding behind that cautious little face. 🖤🤍 She’s looking for someone who understands that the best friendships aren’t rushed—they’re earned. 🐾 Come meet Bear and see if you pass the vibe check. Spoiler: snacks may improve your score. 😏🐻💕

Story
Molly (14) & Kitty Marie (13): Bonded Senior Sweethearts Looking for Their Sunny Acres RetirementMeet Molly and Kitty Marie, two gentle senior ladies who have spent their entire lives together. These bonded "sisters" are hoping to find a peaceful home where they can remain side-by-side, enjoying the comfort and security they've always known.Molly (14) is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with a sweet, sensitive soul. She thrives in a calm, low-stress environment, which is especially important for her health. Molly eats a special gastrointestinal diet to help prevent stress-related colitis, making the busy shelter environment far from ideal for her. She's also quite the chatterbox, happily carrying on conversations with her people, and she absolutely adores being brushed. What she really wants is a quiet home, a cozy spot to nap, and a loving person to spoil her with attention and grooming sessions.Kitty Marie (13) shares Molly's appreciation for a peaceful lifestyle. Declawed and a bit shy, her preferred way to handle life's stresses is to tuck herself under a blanket, where she feels safe and secure. From her cozy hideaway, she'll peek out to say hello and gladly accept gentle pets and affection. She's a loving companion—just not the party-animal type. These sweet girls find themselves searching for a new home through no fault of their own. Their beloved owner passed away, leaving them grieving the loss of the only home they knew. Despite their sadness, Molly and Kitty Marie remain hopeful that someone will open their heart to two deserving seniors who simply want a soft place to land.If you can offer a quiet, loving home where sunny windows, soft blankets, and gentle companionship abound, Molly and Kitty Marie would love to spend their golden years with you. Together, they're dreaming of their own version of "Sunny Acres"—a peaceful retirement filled with comfort, love, and the chance to stay together forever. 🐾❤️☀️Arrived at H.A.L.O.: 7/3/2026All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Our beautiful Buttercup is stopping by to say hi 👋 Buttercup is just 2 years old and came to the rescue in April. She had been left behind, outside, when her owners moved. She had four kittens with her - though we sadly lost one 🙁 Buttercup acted feral when she was trapped and first came in, but very quickly settled in and wanted belly rubs. She is a calm girl and enjoys a gentle approach. She lived with other cats (she was abandoned from the same home and Milky Way and Twix), but doesn’t seem to need the company of another cat so she’d be fine as an only cat/pet. To apply to adopt, please fill out our application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Cat All cats will go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
