Rex is 16 years old and very very vocal. He can only eat soft food with a lot of broth 3-4 times a day. He would be ideal for someone who wants to attend to a single and very vocal senior cat but doesn't want one for longer than 5 years or so. The constant meows for food and stinky wet poos are too hard to manage with a kid and other demands right now. He's not sick enough to put down but he requires too much care. We've lived like this for 5-8 years thinking he'd get sick enough to put down but hasn't got that far yet with no end in sight. Id give you $200 to take him and give him a few good twilight years. He likes going outside but needs to be able to go in and out as he can't fend for himself full time. Help 😰

Q is a great cat. He likes to stay inside, he loves walks with a harness and leash. He loves to play with toys, loves catnip, loves wet and dry food, he is a big boy, and he loves to love intended to keep him forever, but a series of unfortunate events has caused me to lose my home, and I am looking to have to rehome him ASAP. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily.
