Story
Tom is a 12 year old Maine Coon, highly polydactyl with 24 fully boned, well-formed toes. She refuses to be potty trained and we live on a busy street. We used to live on a calmer street and she spent a good bit of time outside and was happier there. Now she sits in front of windows to watch the world. She is very calm, not playful at all. She doesn't really relate to other animals but enjoyed sitting outside in the bushes year around. We have never seen her be violent with other animals or people. We observed her exploration into hunting when she was a juvenile and it was remarkably grisly, but ended then and we've never seen her hunt since. Since becoming fully indoors, she has developed some irritations in her paws and ears and steroids help, but we can't help but think it's related to being cooped up indoors. The vet describes her as sweet and big-boned. We are unhappy to give her up, but she isn't happy and is causing significant and unhealthy damage to our house.

Story
Mel is a very sweet low maintenance long hair Maine coon in the age of 5 years and 3 months old. I had her since she's a baby. She's an indoor cat, love to watch birds and squirrel every day. She's definitely not good with dogs, it'll make her stress out. She loves being with her human happily purring while soaking up attention and even making biscuits when she's especially content. She may be shy at the beginning and need time to warm up but once she feels comfortable, she becomes wonderfully devoted staying close to her person like velcro. I've to rehome her because of personal health issue.

Story
This is Sylvie! I adopted her about 5 years ago, and she has been with me through a few different moves and major changes in my life. However, the most recent major change, means that unfortunately I cannot keep her any longer. She is a former stray who requires time and effort to bond with, but will connect very strongly with whoever puts the time in! She is very fluffy, generally skittish, and absolutely loves to be brushed. She is approximately 8 years old right now, and is FIV positive. I'm hoping she can go to a home where there are people interested in forming a strong bond with her, as I have. She is good with cats to some extent. Very willing to coexist, learned to eat together calmly, will on rare occasion sleep close to my other cat, and will chase/play. She would certainly require time to adjust to any new cats, so I recommend a very slow introduction to any. She can be a tad territorial, but has never injured my other cat.

Story
This is Lester and suki, Lester is a Maine Coon who is fiv positive he is up to date on his vet care, and no health issues. Lester is bonded with suki they have been together all their lives. So we will not separate them they must go as a pair. They were surrendered due to their previous owner passing away which is very sad, they are in a great foster home and doing great. They are very friendly and love their pets, they have been with us awhile. It's so sad because all they want is a place to call home!! Don't let the Fiv scare you people cannot contact it or dogs it is only contacted thru blood from another cat or sexual contact. Lester and suki have lived together their whole lives, and suki does not have fiv.and they are a bonded pair.
