Story
Meet Sampson, a friendly yet shy senior cat seeking a serene forever home. At 11 1/2 years old, Sampson enjoys his independence but appreciates quiet companionship. He thrives in a peaceful environment without other pets, making him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a calm and steady presence. Sampson's gentle nature and maturity make him an ideal pet for a tranquil household. Adopt Sampson for a loyal and loving friend who will enrich your life with quiet affection. Sampson is also part of the Take A Chance On Me Program. This means his adoption fee has been reduced  for the right home. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.December 15, 2025, 9:02 am

Story
Roland is a beautiful Maine coon. He’s skittish and likes to hide but will crawl onto bed at night for pets. He was feral at birth and has lived with a tuxedo with no issues. He loves other cats and would do well in a home with one. He doesn't love new guests and has had intermittent issues peeing on a child’s bed when my wife was pregnant. This happened again with our next child and again with this most recent pregnancy. He just doesn’t seem to like impending births and doesn’t go near our children, but he keeps to himself and uses to box most of the time. As we plan to have more kids we can’t risk the pregnancy urination.
