Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens ​and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Orion is a high-energy guy with a big personality and even bigger zoomies! He thrives in a space where he can run, play, and burn off that playful energy throughout the day. While Orion loves attention, it’s always on his terms—he’ll let you know when he’s ready for love. It’s important to pay attention to his signals and respect his boundaries. He isn’t a big fan of being picked up often, but he’ll happily hang out nearby or come to you when he’s in the mood. Orion needs a home with plenty of scratchers, stimulating toys, and room to explore. She is a gorgeous, loving and playful kitty, who needs to be rehomed. We have had issues with her peeing on our rugs, in our showers, and we have two children that need a clean home. We love her dearly but unfortunately it doesn’t matter how clean her litter pan is, it’s a shared area with our two other cats and she prefers to have her own place to do her business. Unfortunately we do not have the space to accommodate another area for a separate litter pan. We want what’s best for her and have realized that with her showing us these behaviors she needs a new environment.
