Story
Molly is a gorgeous, long haired, brownish tortie. Sort of a rare coloring. She is mothering four babies right now but she will need a home once her babies are weaned. So we are looking for a home for her now. She is a little shy at first, but she is protecting her offspring. She was found in Warren and luckily saved when she was VERY pregnant. We got her a day before she delivered four beautiful babies. Those babies also need homes and they have paired off. Molly is used to older kids. We are looking for an indoor only, non smoking home. For more information on her call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Illiya was put outside after the owners moved away and left him behind. . Illya is very sweet, scared at the moment but gentle and has wintered outside for the first time in his life. He's young, he's a Maine Coon mix. He was found very matted and starving with an eye injury. Probably not a great hunter as he was indoors for most of his life. Other cats in the neighborhood have been fighting him. He's not much of a defender of himself. He is gentle and seems relieved to be found and inside safe and being fed. He was definitely beaten up on by feral cats outside but we got him tested and he is healthy not carrying any diseases. He's boney right now, needs some loving and a family to belong to and rely on once again. He's between 10 months and 1 years old. You can see he wants to trust someone again, he's trying and coming out of his shell more each day. His coat is matted and ragged but he's back on track he will be an amazing family member. We are looking for an indoor only home for him, a non-smoking home. I wouldn't put him in a home with another male cat. He might be okay with a disinterested female or a cat friendly dog. We are still learning more about his needs. Call or text for more information at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Garfield was with a older woman who was a kitten when she took him in. She didn't bother vetting him or doing anything with him to the point that she was ready to just put him outside. Such a friendly little guy who didn't get a chance to be a kitten who was appreciated, loved and wanted. We have vetted hi and we are going to find him a loving home. He's a sweet, friendly orange tabby. He'd do well with a female kitty or cat friendly dog. Call or text for more information to 517 294 4514 or email your phone number to me at marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Laaya is a GORGEOUS Maine Coon youngster. who recently had kittens and we don't know where her kittens are. She's a dark brown tabby with a black tail and back. She was found in a trailer park with some other young cats. She was going to be trapped but then we realized she was very friendly. She's got huge paws so she will be a bigger girl. She's a healthy eater because she was starved when she came in. She is a LOVER, a people person. She likes to have her pet parents to herself. She loves to sleep in the bed with you. Even under the covers. She was all bones when we found her, she was nursing kittens we could tell from her teets. But we could not find any kittens. We are looking for a non smoking home. We don't know if she's okay around dogs or not yet. For more informatoino call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Hi there, I’m Roomba! I’m about a year old, sporting a stylish brown-and-white coat with some dashing unique tropical island tabby stripes. I’m social, loving, and a bit silly, if I do say so myself. Fun fact about me: I’m an “island kitty”! I was rescued from a small island in the British Virgin Islands and was brought here to the USA to find a safe and indoor home! So, how did I get here? Well… when a vacationing MCT volunteer was on the island I was on, she realized not only did I need to be neutered, but that I didn’t totally see perfectly… not a big deal if you don’t have to worry about cars and predators. So, after being taken to the vet on the island and neutered getting all up to date on my shots, etc. Everyone agreed that I was most likely born this way and so it was decided I was too sweet and precious—to be released back outside on the island. So, from a program called “paws in the air”, I took a plane ride to Detroit! So here I am, ready to find my forever family! My vision impairment really isn’t a big deal. I get around and can find my litter-box and everything just fine! Don’t worry—I’m still a total champ at doing all the cool cat things, I just need a cozy, consistent home where I can memorize my surroundings. Once I’ve got the lay of the land, I’ll run and zoom around and explore every nook and cranny like any curious kitty would. I’m a total adventurer who adores exploring and sunbathing in windows. I’ll even show off my fancy footwork on the cat wheel (yep, I’m that cool) and going for little walks on it. I might look like a grown cat, but I’m still a kitten at heart—I need enrichment, toys, and fun activities to keep me happy and busy. I’m super chatty, too! I love chirping at my humans, especially when I’m excited. Oh, and did I mention I’m 100% food motivated? Bring on the treats, please! I have a sweet spot for belly rubs, head scratches, and back rubs. I’m all about cuddles—sometimes I’ll curl right up on your lap too. I’m a little nervous about being picked up for too long but lifting me gently is cool! I’m a rockstar playing with my soccer ball toy and batting it around and I’ll happily play with your feet to ask for attention. I get along great with other kitties too, so having a nice feline friend for me to cuddle with would be awesome. We can chase rattle ball toys together (my fave, by the way) and keep each other entertained. I’m not so sure about dogs or young kids—my perfect home would be peaceful and more quiet and a family that isn’t moving around to new places so I can know and memorize the layout of my home. So, if you’re looking for a quirky, adventurous, loving island kitty who’ll charm you with chatter, purrs, and goofy antics, I’m your guy. Let’s become best buds! Fill out an application to meet this sweet boy : https://form.jotform.com/242015163806045 Roomba is a 1 year old. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing, microchip and basic wellness care such as deworming & flea treatment.
