Story
Hi there, I’m Roomba! I’m about a year old, sporting a stylish brown-and-white coat with some dashing unique tropical island tabby stripes. I’m social, loving, and a bit silly, if I do say so myself. Fun fact about me: I’m an “island kitty”! I was rescued from a small island in the British Virgin Islands and was brought here to the USA to find a safe and indoor home! So, how did I get here? Well… when a vacationing MCT volunteer was on the island I was on, she realized not only did I need to be neutered, but that I didn’t totally see perfectly… not a big deal if you don’t have to worry about cars and predators. So, after being taken to the vet on the island and neutered getting all up to date on my shots, etc. Everyone agreed that I was most likely born this way and so it was decided I was too sweet and precious—to be released back outside on the island. So, from a program called “paws in the air”, I took a plane ride to Detroit! So here I am, ready to find my forever family! My vision impairment really isn’t a big deal. I get around and can find my litter-box and everything just fine! Don’t worry—I’m still a total champ at doing all the cool cat things, I just need a cozy, consistent home where I can memorize my surroundings. Once I’ve got the lay of the land, I’ll run and zoom around and explore every nook and cranny like any curious kitty would. I’m a total adventurer who adores exploring and sunbathing in windows. I’ll even show off my fancy footwork on the cat wheel (yep, I’m that cool) and going for little walks on it. I might look like a grown cat, but I’m still a kitten at heart—I need enrichment, toys, and fun activities to keep me happy and busy. I’m super chatty, too! I love chirping at my humans, especially when I’m excited. Oh, and did I mention I’m 100% food motivated? Bring on the treats, please! I have a sweet spot for belly rubs, head scratches, and back rubs. I’m all about cuddles—sometimes I’ll curl right up on your lap too. I’m a little nervous about being picked up for too long but lifting me gently is cool! I’m a rockstar playing with my soccer ball toy and batting it around and I’ll happily play with your feet to ask for attention. I get along great with other kitties too, so having a nice feline friend for me to cuddle with would be awesome. We can chase rattle ball toys together (my fave, by the way) and keep each other entertained. I’m not so sure about dogs or young kids—my perfect home would be peaceful and more quiet and a family that isn’t moving around to new places so I can know and memorize the layout of my home. So, if you’re looking for a quirky, adventurous, loving island kitty who’ll charm you with chatter, purrs, and goofy antics, I’m your guy. Let’s become best buds! Fill out an application to meet this sweet boy : https://form.jotform.com/242015163806045 Roomba is a 1 year old. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing, microchip and basic wellness care such as deworming & flea treatment.

I got Dezi at 13 weeks from a friends cat that had a litter. He is a lover boy!! He is very kind and sweet and loves to cuddle. He also plays fetch! Will play fetch for a very long time! He is a little timid with strangers but warms up after a few hours. He gets along with his housemate female cat very well.

Story
I am overly obsessed with this guy, I have had him for 8 years and he's lived in New York City, Chicago, and now resides in Michigan. He is very affectionate, playful, and LOVES to snuggle up! He adapts very well and has stayed at 11 pounds since he turned 2 years old. He's a fit cat who loves to sit up high and cat scratchers with a seat at the top are his best friend. He even enjoys a sunny day staring out the window at the world. My husband has lived with him for the last 4 years and his allergies sadly just keep getting worse, he's tried a lot of medication and we are at the point that we want both him and Mix to live happy, healthy lives. We are looking for the perfect human to take Mix into their world and allow him to bring them as much joy as he has brought us. He is only an indoor cat, but has been put on a leash to chill on our front porch before.

Story
Smokey (Tootie) loves to walk on a leash and is my heart sweet loving and super snuggly! He enjoys waking you up in the morning for a nice head scratch. He loves snuggling up on the bed at night for a nice snuggle. He enjoys watching the birds, deer and rabbits outside and will let you know when he is ready for a snack. He is extremely playful and during COVID was my constant companion now that I am moving with someone severely allergic I have to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. I would love to know that he is in a happy home and hope you will fall in love with him as much as I have

Story
Hello, My son asked to rescue Mr. Whiskers when he was little despite my apprehension. He really wanted a dog. We have done our best to support the cat however it's harder to keep up with the needs of the cat. He often wants to go outside at weird times of the night which causes me to have trouble getting back to sleep since I am a very lite sleeper. He is good with the kids that visit but hard when I am traveling since I don't have anyone to watch him. I took the cat in when someone else left him and now I need help. Thank you for the consideration.

Story
Hello, I'm Ariel, on the lookout for my forever family. I'm the ideal feline companion, ready to steal your heart with my playful and affectionate nature. I'm a sociable kitty, getting along well with other cats, and I adore engaging in playtime, especially with my irresistible wand toy. Let's not forget to mention my stunning features—big green eyes and sleek black fur, and I must say, I have the cutest face. I've been described as a social butterfly by my foster mom. Although I've been diagnosed with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), which I likely inherited from my momma cat, there's no need to worry. With proper care indoors, I can live just as long as any other cat. FIV isn't transmissible to humans, only to cats, typically through deep bite wounds. Despite my diagnosis, I'm a lover, not a fighter, and I've been peacefully coexisting with my FIV-negative cat companions. I once had a family of my own, but for reasons I don't understand, they placed me in a carrier, took me for a car ride, and left me on a sidewalk near a strip mall. Thankfully, a kind woman noticed me, scooped me up, and sought help on my behalf. Now, I embark on a new journey in search of my true forever family. If you believe I'm the perfect kitty for you Ariel is 1-2 years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated. Story
Hello there, fabulous human! I'm Nora, the enchanting panther kitty with a touch of shy charm. I've got this big sister named Button, and let me tell you, she's the brave one who's been showing me the ropes of the spoiled indoor life. Our adventure began when we were rescued from the great outdoors near a fire station—thanks to some awesome firefighters who were feeding us. They called in the cavalry, aka Motor City Trappers, to give us a shot at the good life indoors. Now, we're adjusting and absolutely loving it! I may be the shy one, but I've got a playful spirit waiting to burst forth. My sister Button, she's the braveheart who loves a good brushing and pets from her humans. I'm taking notes and slowly coming out of my shell, thanks to her guidance. What we really need is a dynamic duo like us to join your household. A quiet haven with patient owners who are kitty-savvy, ready to help us relax and relish the good life. Staying together is non-negotiable—we've been partners in crime since day one. Could you be the purr-fect person to help us live our best lives? Let's find out together! Nora is 1-2 years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated. Story
Beans here is such a sweet cat. She came to us late last year after being surrendered by a friend who couldn't keep her. Unfortunately we have two other cats and we found out rather quickly beans is not a fan of other cats. It wasn't anything too bad, no fights or anything but she was adamant about keeping the other two cats away from her, and ideally not even in the same room. We thought perhaps it would get better with time but well, here we are. When the other cats weren' around beans would snuggle, play, and be such a good cat but the moment another cat came around she would begin playing rough with her teeth, and if they got too close she would swat at them. But she is such a sweet baby and loves to be pet and to play! She is not up to date on her shots or spayed due to some financial issues shortly after we got her and our other two cats needed to see vets regularly due to medical needs. So she will need to be brought into a vet asap ideally and brought up to date.
