Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mary is a beautiful long-haired girl who. would love to be adopted with Pawla. My name is Mary and I am a very affectionate young lady.  A kind man and woman saved me from the cold in the winter and now I am ready for my forever home.  I just love being with people, and having all the attention!  I am very laid back.  I am FIV positive and would do best in a home with another FIV positive cat or I can be your one and only.  Please read about FIV below.  There is nothing to be afraid of -- I am not contagious and I can live a long happy, healthy life.   If you want to make my dreams come true, please contact my foster mom at nearinc2004@yahoo.com if you are ready to meet me.  What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  There is no treatment or cure.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent exposure to illness, sterilized and fed a balanced diet.  They should be seen by a veterinarian at least once a year to ensure their ongoing good health. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who are FIV+ live just as long as FIV-negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems.    For additional information contact your veterinarian.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 21, 2025, 10:41 pm

Story
I’m ALFIE, a stunning white and tabby mix with a unique spot pattern. I was found on a rainy night under a backyard shed at just 3 weeks old. Now, I’m a loving, purring machine who adores cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime. I love to jump high and chase after my toys. When I’m not napping, I like to spend my day bird-watching—I get really excited when I see birds coming to the window! I’m quite vocal when I’m happy and enjoy being around people, kittens, and other cats. I’m ready to bring joy and warmth to a new home! Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea treatment. Neutered and felv/fiv combo negative. First time pet owners, a personal character reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Story
Wilma (dob 3/30/24) is the petite little tiger sister to her big brothers, Walter and William. They got all the big kitty genes, she is delicate, but don't let that fool you! She has plenty of energy and can hold her own. Raised in a very loving home since birth, she loves and trusts people and is super smart and sassy. She sometimes thinks her big brothers are a little silly, and is definitely the thinker of the trio. In her photos you can see her serious expression. She is absolutely confident as a single kitten, or would be happy to be adopted into a home with others, or with one of her friends or brothers. Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Spayed. Mama negative for felv/fiv combo test. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Story
Dawn (dob 2/1/22) is a friendly, sweet girl. She has an adorable underbite that enhances her cuteness. She's been to the Kitten Lounge, but it was a bit too active for her lifestyle, so she's back with us in her own special room for adults. Dawn loves to chill out and relax with the other foster cats and would love a buddy to hang out with in her new home. Let's get her one where she can be spoiled! Update: 3/12/24 Dawn was brought to the vet for a follow up exam due to a skin allergy. It was determined that she has a food allergy and was put on a no fish, corn, soy, or wheat Chicken and Rice formula. She is doing well and will need to stay on a similar diet. Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, spayed, microchipped, and Felv/Fiv negative. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required.
