Ellie is looking for a new home after her owners age and health made it too difficult to care for her. She is about 3-4 years old, very friendly and sweet. She is currently fostered in a home with several cats and a few dogs, so while she has been the only cat for a couple years, she is adjusting to life with many four footed siblings. She would do best with a furry friend or two, but did fine as an only cat with a full time person to love her. She is a beautiful girl and wants to love and be loved. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Meet Rocky and his sister Flower. These gorgeous fluffies need a patient home willing to work for their snuggles. They are shy at first -  especially Flower but with time and patience they warm up into soft sweet cuddle buddies. They get along very well and love wrestling in the morning and napping in the afternoon. Interactive play and canned food is the key to winning Flower over. Rocky loves to be picked up and held like a baby. Flower also allows this when she is in the mood- you have to work harder to win her trust but it’s totally worth it. She’s such an elegant little lady. Finn was a gift from a family friend a couple months ago, and sadly we simply cannot afford him anymore. It is important to note that Finn is not a high-maintenance cat, we just have 2 other cats and can no longer afford a 3rd. Finn is around 3 years old, and is looking for a home where he is preferably an only child. Finn is a very adaptable and social cat. He loves food, talking, playing with his toys, and cuddling in the mornings. If I had to describe Finn in one word it would be perfect. I know that’s a bit of a cliche, but Finn really is a perfect cat. He’s box-trained, loves people, and is pretty low maintenance. I’m devastated that we don’t have the space/money for him any longer and can only dream he finds the perfect home he deserves.
