Story
William is estimated to be between 8-10 months old! His bunny-soft long coat just begs for pets. He might be bashful at first, but give him a little time, some lower back scritches, and a tube treat, and you’ll watch him transform into a love sponge. He’ll roll around soaking up affection and might even sneak you a gentle kiss. This little guy also has a soft, chirpy voice and a hint of Maine Coon mystery; he’s been known to strike up a conversation when he’s feeling chatty. He loves a high perch on his cat tree where he can watch the world go by and interact with humans at eye level. He’s also a big fan of feather wands and other toys that let him show off his playful side. He is obsessed with dogs & he’s fond of other cats too! He would love to go to a home with furry companions for sure! Once he decides you’re his person, you’ll be rewarded with endless snuggles, rumbling purrs, and a best friend for life. *William is located in a Philly foster home in Spruce Hill*

Felicia - spayed female. About 5 years old. Felicia runs from contact but will allow touch sometimes. Getting better with this. Beautiful Felicia would do best in a calm relaxed home with a person who can be patient with her and give her time or she can also be adopted with another cat to give her company from her foster home. Please email for info and to schedule a visit with her prior to adoption: catchancerescue@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Bobby! He's a sweet kitten who is about 7 months old. He insisted on squinting for all his pictures, which makes him look a bit unamused, but he is really a sweet and loving kitty. He is very friendly and affectionate. He was rescued from a shelter in North Caroline and made his way up to DPR in search for his forever home! He would curl up in bed with his foster dad every time he laid down. A definite cuddle bug that's for sure! He gets along great with the cats and dogs at his foster home. He's calm for a kitten and just an all around awesome guy!    This cat is neutered, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application'   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms       Adoption fee is: $250 Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care!    Links to our Amazon and Chewy wishlists: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/QFBUQI1CQBCZhttps://chewygivesback.prf.hn/click/camref:1100lkBUr/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.chewy.com%2Fg%2Fdelaware-pet-rescue_b88829590 If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a 'Cat Adoption Application'   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms    This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *     DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:  Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2025, 12:03 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Celine! Celine and her sister, Rumi, were living with their owner in a car for several months before being surrendered to a shelter. They made their way to DPR after that. They are both very sweet and loving, gentle kitties. Rumi likes to find the highest point in the room to nap - she enjoys watching out over her kingdom from her cushy throne! Celine prefers to snuggle up on a cozy bed on floor level. They both have the cutest squishy faces - it looks like their aspect ratio was adjusted unevenly, but that's just how they look! They are very affectionate and love being pet and will rub up against you and give you head butts when you stop petting them. They would make a nice pair if you're looking for a sweet pair of kitties, but they would also be okay to be adopted to separate homes. They both get along great with all the other adult cats and kittens they are being fostered with! Very sweet and beautiful kitties!  This cat is spayed, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative.
