She is about 1 year old and was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. She is very scared of other cats and dogs, she would be most comfortable and feel safest in a home without other animals. She enjoys human companionship and likes being pet and doted on by her foster mom. She will make a lovely addition to your home! She is extremely friendly and loves to be cuddled. She is a very relaxed kitty who has been very well behaved at her foster home. She will sleep next to you all night and cuddle you all day. Seriously, this guy is a keeper!! He does not have a shy bone in his body, he's the cat equivalent of a Golden Retriever. He's super loving and has never met a stranger. He will run to the door to greet you when you get home and climb right onto your lap and nuzzle your face. It sure is easy to fall in love with Marc! He so badly wants a home of his very own - he showed up one day trying to get into someone's house and refused to leave. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Gigi! Can you believe this little girl was found in the euthanasia room in a shelter in North Carolina?? She was not a shelter cat and nobody has any idea how she got there. The staff heard meowing from the euthanasia room, went in and there was this friendly little kitten who jumped into their arms. The euthanasia room in an overcrowded shelter is no place for a friendly, healthy kitten, so we were contacted to take her. She is at DPR now, and WOW what a friendly and affectionate kitten! She LOVES everyone she meets - she's wonderful with cats, dogs and children. She has gigantic round eyes that always make her seem a little alarmed, but we assure you she's not as crazy as her eyes make her seem - she's actually pretty mellow, and wants nothing more than to just get love and snuggles from her human friends. Dax is a 10 year old Maine Coon whose Mom went into Senior Living.  She is currently in a temporary foster home. She is a beautiful apricot and brown girl who would flourish in a quiet home without children or other pets. She likes to be pet and brushed until she has had enough.  She will let you know its time to stop! Her favorite pastimes are watching the birds outside, assisting me when I work on the computer, and getting a good workout on cardboard scratchers! She comes to me when I motion to her and often comes to greet me when I walk into the room, assuming she is in the mood. Rosemary is a Maine Coon mix, with Dwarf features. She is very small, with chubby little legs and a fluffy tail. She has Maine Coon jaw development, ears, and very much a Maine Coon personality. Rosemary is very outgoing and playful. She can be shy, and will run and hide when startled, or at loud noises. She loves bags of any kind and will play for hours with a paper bag!
