Story
Hoi! My name is Patches Girl, and I am one year old. My mama is moving to the Netherlands and is looking for a new home to love me while she goes onto her next adventure. I get really attached to one person and that person is my favorite person for life, if you give me treats I'll love you even more! I tend to be a cautious observer for awhile but once I get comfortable with you I warm up and can be extremely playful and cuddly. My favorite thing to do is play fetch with my sparkly pom pom, see! I even have a picture of me with it that my mommy took of me. I am very much so a therapy cat, and am very in tune with human emotions and im really good at knowing right when you need a hug. I love water, so I might jump in the shower with you, or sit in the sink when you brush your teeth. But it's got to be my idea, or else I hate I hate water. I don't get along with other cats at all, I am a people person and an only child to my mommy. I just want all your attention, love and cuddles.

Story
Gus is a very sweet and gentle 1/2 Maine Coon looking for a loving forever home. He has been a wonderful part of our family, and this is not an easy decision for us. We want to make sure he goes to someone who will love him and take care of him for years to come. Gus is an indoor-only cat and would do best in a home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. He has a gentle personality and is a great companion. We are looking for someone who is serious about providing Gus with a safe and loving home. We aren’t looking to simply give him away — finding the right home is much more important to us.

Story
Meet Hashish 🤍Hashish is 2 years old, and I’ve had him since he was about 4 months old. He is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with the sweetest, gentlest personality. He can be very shy, especially when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but once he feels comfortable, his silly personality starts to come out. He’s a very chill, quiet, calm cat and loves having a peaceful space where he can relax and just be himself.Hashish is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and has always been very loved and well cared for. He’s comfortable taking baths and getting his nails clipped. He will also come with his belongings and supplies to help make the transition into his new home as comfortable as possible. My biggest priority is finding Hashish a safe, stable, loving home where he will be treated like family. If you’re seriously interested, please message me and tell me a little about yourself, your home, and any pets you currently have.

Story
**Meet Alfie & Otto** **2-year-old Maine Coon Mixes | Bonded Brothers Meet Alfie and Otto, a pair of incredibly soft, sweet brothers who are looking for a home where they can stay together. These two came to Emerald City Pet Rescue from California after their family’s circumstances changed, and they are now ready to find a quiet place to call their own. Alfie, the brown tabby, is the more confident of the two. He can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but once he settles in, his curious personality starts to shine. He absolutely loves being up high and would be thrilled to have a cat tree or other vertical spaces to perch on. He also enjoys watching the world outside and taking in everything happening around him. Alfie’s meow can sometimes sound a little hissy, but don’t let that fool you. He has not shown any signs of aggression and is simply a cat with a unique voice. Otto, the orange tabby, is a little more reserved than his brother. He may need some extra time to feel comfortable in new surroundings, but his sweet personality comes through once he feels safe. He loves investigating cabinets and hiding spots and can often be found rubbing against your legs as he explores. He enjoys a good cat tree, too, although Alfie definitely takes the prize for biggest fan of the high life. Together, Alfie and Otto are a lovely pair. They have low-to-medium energy and seem to be more interested in exploring their surroundings and spending time together than getting into nonstop mischief. Neither brother particularly enjoys being picked up, so they would do best with people who are happy to let them show affection on their own terms. Their ideal home would be fairly quiet and give them the time they need to settle in and build confidence. They may do well with a calm, respectful dog or another cat with slow, proper introductions. Most importantly, they need to be adopted together. And did we mention their fur? **These boys are unbelievably soft.** Their beautiful coats will need regular brushing to help prevent mats, but we think you'll agree that all that fluff is worth the effort. If you’re looking for two gentle companions who can keep each other company, explore their new home together, and gradually become your best friends, Alfie and Otto might be the pair for you.

Story
Meet bold and beautiful Baltazar! This amazing 4-month kitten, with an adorable small white patch on his chest, is very playful and very much the explorer. Since he’s still a baby, he can be a bit shy. Baltazar is such a sweet boy! He plays well with all others, and he especially loves his brother Niko. Baltazar is a kitty with a very large presence. He can be independent and also affectionate. Currently Baltazar’s not sure how he feels about being picked up, but we are working on that. Baltazar is very active but also loves to chill and watch everyone play. Baltazar has had all his vaccines, is neutered, full vet exams, topical parasite control (includes, ticks, fleas, roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms) and microchip. Plus he has been tested for FeLV/FIV (negative). He is litter-box trained too. Baltazar will likely be a medium size cat at full grown and will be an amazing and lovable addition to your family. For more information and an adoption application, please email foster mom Lisa at birdz4lifeduh@gmail.com and please include your phone number. You really need to meet this handsome and happy kitten who can’t wait for his interaction with his forever family!
