EuGe is a 9 year old Maltese Terrier cross. He came from a home where they couldn’t care for the dogs any longer. He gets along great with other dogs. He isn’t sure about cats and sometimes barks at mine. He’s a great companion dog, follows me and sits beside my chair. He is passive but playful when stimulated. He’s the perfect little laid back gentleman for a quieter home. He’s leash trained and will use pads. His Vetting is complete: neutered, all vaccinations, flea tick heartworm prevention, dewormed. My previous owner must have fed me all the time so I ate all the time and now I need to get my svelte figure back with your help. I enjoy walking around at rescue, so I’m not a couch potato. I was in awful condition when I was rescued. My ears had handful of fur in them and I was pretty matted all over. I get along with everyone at rescue. I stay clear of the rowdy ones, but if they want to sit with me I’m good with that. I’m a good girl. I want a family that will keep me safe and I’ll reward you with lots and lots of love.

Story
I spent a year in my home without my person. Someone came by once a day to feed me, but I was alone the rest of the day and night. My person was sick for a long time and didn’t make arrangements when he passed away. A good Samaritan reached out to Act2Pups and they agreed to take me in. I hadn’t been groomed in a year. Although I use potty pads they weren’t changed very much and I was a mess when I was finally rescued. As you can see I was a mop head and now I’m cleaned up. My skin needs some work and I’m getting a dental next week (week of November 10th). I’m a happy girl. I just love being cuddled. I’ll race around and stand on my back legs to be picked up. I’m fine with other small dogs and older children.

    Hi, I’m Liberty - a feisty, adorable, 9-year-old, Maltese/Poodle mix weighing just 9 pounds. My foster mom says I’m fluffy (I think that’s her sweet way of teasing me). I’ve had a little anxiety in the past, so I sometimes bark when I feel unsure, but I’ve made wonderful progress. Once I know I’m safe, I truly shine. I just need a calm environment and a family who understands me. I’m spayed, fully house-trained, crate-trained, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I even had a dental cleaning! I know my basic commands and take pride in being a well-mannered little lady. My dream home would be quiet and peaceful, with no small children, no shared walls, and a fenced yard where I can enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I’m a sweet girl with a gentle heart, looking for a safe, warm, and loving place to rest my head.
