If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart: Park in the PetSmart Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. Meet Cricket! At just 3 months old and 6 pounds, Cricket is an adorable little Maltese/Terrier mix—or at least that’s our best guess! With rescue puppies, breed mixes are often a mystery, which means we can’t predict exactly how big she’ll be when she’s grown. What we do know is that she’s absolutely precious. Cricket has a sweet, gentle nature that makes everyone fall in love with her. When you reach down to pick her up, she doesn’t shy away from hands at all—instead, she makes herself extra small and melts into the floor as if she’s trying to be the most polite puppy in the world. It’s impossibly cute. This little girl is doing wonderfully with puppy life. She’s not picky about food, is happily working on her potty training, and has had no accidents so far when taken outside regularly. She’s already comfortable in a crate and rides nicely in the car, making her an easy companion for adventures both big and small. Cricket loves spending time in the yard exploring the world around her. Leashes are still a bit of a mystery to her, but at her age that’s completely normal. She’s curious and confident enough to follow her people around the house, yet independent enough to wander off and settle into a cozy dog bed when she’s ready for a nap.
