Meet Brynn! This tiny 2-year-old Maltese mix may be small (6 pounds), but her love for snuggles is HUGE. Brynn is the definition of a cuddle-bug and would happily spend her days curled up in your lap, soaking up all the affection she can get. Brynn can be a nervous girl when meeting new people and in new environments, so she’s looking for a patient and understanding family that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once she warms up, her sweet and loving personality truly shines. She does experience some separation anxiety and will whine or cry when she’s away from her people. However, she is learning to settle in her crate with time and reassurance. Brynn will thrive with a family committed to helping her build confidence. Brynn is currently working on both house training and crate training and is doing well with consistency. She lives in a foster home with both small and large dogs and gets along great with everyone, though she’s still figuring out how to join in on playtime. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion and are willing to give a little extra love and patience, Brynn will reward you with endless snuggles and devotion. His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Elizabeth Taylor is a 6.5 year old Maltese with her whole life ahead of her! She came to us as a breeder release, so everything is new and a little bit scary for her right now. With patience and consistency, she will quickly learn how good life can be! So far, she is doing well with other dogs and is mostly uninterested. She would probably be the same around cats, as she’s only 15 pounds and would be similar to their size. She is shy with new people, but seems to be enjoying spending time outside and decompressing with her foster family! She’s doing well in her crate and working on potty training, and mostly just taking it easy while she acclimates. And we are just fine with that! She hopes her adopter will be just as patient and let her come out of her shell in her own time, so if you are able to provide her that stability and kindness, please let us know! Elizabeth Taylor's adoption fee is $550

If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Patches is a 3 year old male Maltese mix who weighs in at 9.4 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $500. If you are still interested, please read more below. Patches is new to ARF. He found himself at a local animal control and is very thankful to have landed in a loving ARF foster home! He seems housetrained and is crate-trained (with some crying). He isn’t too sure of car rides but loves walks. He is good with other dogs and he is ok with children. This little guy is looking for his new forever home!
