This sweet 7 yr old Maltese mix recently came to us from a shelter so his history is unknown. But from even his first few days it's obvious he was in a home since he makes himself comfortable on a couch or in your bed and loves to cuddle. He is good with other dogs of a similar size. It will take us a little more time to know more about his personality. Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays for 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road, Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable dogs in person. Personality & Behavior: Very calm and content to do his own thing Enjoys rotating between cozy dog beds like a canine Goldilocks Great fit for someone who works from home and wants quiet companionship Friendly and confident with dogs of all sizes Shows more personality each day as he settles in Activity & Mobility: Loves being outdoors and walks beautifully on leash Potty breaks happen quickly, then he strolls at a relaxed pace Navigates short stairs well and appreciates a little help when offered Active for his age and enjoys exploring Training: House training is progressing well with support from pee pads Crate training is still in progress Overall, hes adapting nicely with routine and gentle guidance Ideal Home: Ricky would thrive in a calm household that appreciates a lowmaintenance, affectionate, and independent senior dog.
