Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Some dogs come into our program with instant notoriety and rise to a celebrity status quickly. Tallulah is definitely one of them. As a popular pup at Saving Grace, Tallulah would love to give back to their community by helping other Saving Grace dogs with major medical needs, our senior dogs, nursing moms, and those who need life-saving heartworm treatments. Through his/her adoption, Tallulah will ask their new family to assist them by making a donation of $500 (tax-deductible) in addition to the adoption fee ($395) to help his/her friends in need. Tallulah is a doll! She is so very sweet and is just so happy to be near you! She is definitely learning a lot of new things in her foster home- leash walking seems to be brand new and a little scary. She is not quite crate- or potty-trained, but she is working hard at listening and following a schedule! In just a few days she's already catching on! This gal loves treats and is very happy at meal time. She loves to jump on the couch for snuggles and is perfect at loving you hard! She doesn't like when you leave the room, but is quickly gaining confidence, and with some reassurance she is just so happy to be adored. She has no issue with dogs of any size or cats, and absolutely adores people- she will snuggle up to anyone! She would do best in a home with a family who is ready to help her acclimate to a routine and help her catch up on all the things she's missed out on. She is absolutely a dream come true who so deserves patience, love, and a family of her own.

Story
Meet Charlie Bean — a 9-year-old, 9 lb Maltese mix with a heart full of love and loyalty!   Quick Facts: Name: Charlie Bean Breed: Maltese Mix Age: 9 years old Weight: 9 lbs. House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Some (may chase them) Good with Kids: Yes (prefer older, respectful kids) Energy Level: Low to medium Fence Required: Yes   About Charlie Bean’s Breed: Our best guess is that Charlie Bean is a Maltese mix. Maltese dogs are affectionate, gentle, and elegant companions, best known for their silky white coats and loving personalities. They thrive in homes where they are treated as part of the family and given plenty of attention. An ideal home for a Maltese is one that provides a safe, comfortable indoor environment, as they are small and sensitive to extreme weather. They adapt well to apartments or houses, as long as they receive daily companionship, moderate exercise, and regular grooming. Maltese dogs are happiest in calm households where they can enjoy being close to their humans, often curled up on a lap or nestled on a soft blanket.   Charlie Bean is a well-mannered gentleman who is completely potty trained and crate trained, though he doesn’t need a crate when left alone thanks to his respectful nature. Having been through a lot, he feels safest when his humans are close by and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time.   He enjoys the outdoors but needs a fenced yard to keep him safe. Charlie likes people, especially women, and while he doesn’t mind kids, he prefers to stick close to his person when kids are around—his true security blanket. He gets along well with other dogs and even lives with the resident cat, though he occasionally enjoys a playful chase. On leash, he’s a pro and loves taking little walks, still showing off some moderate play energy despite his age!   Charlie Bean’s Charming Highlights: Potty and crate trained, very respectful in the home Prefers female companionship, but friendly with all people Good with dogs and cats, enjoys gentle play Loves walks and moderate playtime Lap dog at heart, happiest being held and snuggled Ideal home: someone who stays home often and has lots of love to give (may not be ideal for a first-time dog parent)   Charlie Bean is a loving, easy-going companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, offering endless cuddles and devotion. He’s the perfect match for a calm, caring home where he can spend his days being cherished!   Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We assist with coordinating transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!  December 16, 2025, 12:24 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Prissy -Sonsorship Only-In a hospice foster home   Sweet 16-year-old Prissy came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue as an owner surrender who no longer wanted to pay the medical bills associated with a senior dog.   Prissy is missing quite a bit of fur, has a small mass, and after careful evaluation, our vet determined that she is not healthy enough to survive surgery. Because of this, Prissy will remain in our care as a hospice pup, living out her golden days in a loving foster home where she will receive the best medical care, attention, and comfort we can give. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   We are committed to giving Prissy all the love she deserves, but we can't do it without your help. Her ongoing medical needs — including medications, special food, frequent vet visits, and comfort care — add up quickly. If you can, please consider making a donation to support Prissy's care. Every dollar truly makes a difference for her.   Donate here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=VJEXAFXEE84BE   Thank you for being part of our village and helping us give Prissy the life she should have had all along. She may not have years left, but she will know love every single day she has. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 9, 2025, 9:51 am
