Story
This little ball of cuteness is Fluff! Fluff is a tan female mixed breed ready to find her forever home! She weighs 9 pounds and is estimated to be around five years old. Fluff was found abandoned on the side of the road with two other dogs in Winston-Salem.She was not house trained nor leash trained and was scared and skittish. Within two days of fostering, she was walking on a leash. Within two weeks, she was consistently using a pee pad. Fluff is a fast learner and aims to please. Fluff loves people and other dogs. Fluff would enjoy having a cuddle buddy to share her dog bed and though her foster mom thinks it would be nice, she doesn’t think it is necessarily a requirement of her new home as long as she’s with someone who will give Fluff a lot of attention. Fluff wants a lap to lay in- she’d be in your lap 24/7 if she had her way! Of Fluff her foster mom says this: “Of the 77 foster dogs I've had, Fluff is by far the best, sweetest, loveliest, smartest, most special of them all.” Fluff is spayed, has been fully vetted, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and takes monthly heartworm prevention. She is not on any medications. Fluff’s adoption donation is $300. If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below. To submit an application go here: http://www.chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/ An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.

Story
We rescued Hallie from our local animal 3 1/2 years ago and they estimated she was about 6 or 7 years old at the time. She lost a back paw and had to have a lot of her teeth pulled but still eats hard kibble. Most adults she meet describe her as sweet and snuggly. Unfortunately she has never gotten over her anxiety and our large 100 lb dog and children make her skittish and she snaps/growls at them when they get too close to her space. When she has stayed with my parents who don’t have a large dog and small kids she was fine. We would love to find her a home where she wouldn’t have those triggers and she can live her best lap dog life.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Gina is a maltese mix and is a little over 1 year old.  She is very cuddly and loves hanging out with her humans--but really doesn't pay other dogs any attention.  Gina can be a bit nervous and just wants a lap to sleep in.  She'd do best in a quiet apartment or calm home. Gina is pottie trained so long as you keep her on a schedule.  But if you let it slip, she will take matters into her own paws Gina had a lot of skin issues due to matting and neglect.  She will completely heal.  She is on antibiotics and has a bad haircut.  She will need to finish her medicine and can go home after 7/27, but it will take some time before she is all-over-fluffy again **************************************************************** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the future spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All puppies have had a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
