He does have a grade 3 heart murmur which means he will most likely end up on medication. He deserves to be in a loving home not in a rescue. CASHMERE is also still looking for her furever home.  Cashmere(Cash) is a 7 yo Maltese weighing 12 lbs that we rescued from a commercial breeding kennel. Cash had to have her remaining teeth removed due to decay but has no trouble eating food. She has a great appetite and runs over when hears the refrigerator door opening. She goes potty outside, walks daily around the neighborhood on a leash, enjoys good soft food and exploring the yard. She is good with every dog we meet and our pitbull. She is good in the crate overnight and I have left her for 4-5 hours during the day with no problem.  She knows “go potty”.  Her crate has also been dry overnight. She will also be happy to sleep in your bed with you all night. She knows come, time to eat, let’s go for a walk, and of course No. She will need another calm dog in the home to show her the ropes and build her confidence. I do have a fenced yard and that would be preferred as she loves it. But if no fence, she will need to be on a leash to be safe and need a daily walk or two. She is still shy and will need someone with patience and know that it takes time for them to trust you.  Mill dogs make the best pets ever who will bond with you forever.  Cashmere is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Oliver is a 6 year old shitzu/Maltese mix who was rehomed due to territorial marking in the home. Since being in foster care he’s been doing great wearing a belly band. The marking has improved tremendously and he has been accident free for the majority of his time in foster care. Oliver is a mellow guy who would enjoy a quiet home. You will usually find him lounging on the floor in whatever room his people are in. He does well with other dogs but could also be your one and only. Oliver does not enjoy living with cats, so a feline free home is a must. Oliver came into the rescue slightly overweight so his new family needs to help him maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise. Oliver loves an evening stroll around the neighborhood and walks well on leash.
