Kaiden is approx a 6-7 year old, 13lb Maltese mix. Kaiden is a loveable little guy. He loves to be brushed and lay next to his person. He loves mealtime and is on Natural Balance vegetarian food he is allergic to meat. He does have some allergies so he requires a monthly cytopoint injection and baths a couple times a week. He is also on thyroid medication daily. He is potty trained and will go to the door and asked to be let out. He gets along well with other dogs. It takes him a bit to warm up to people. If his allergies are bothering him he dosen't like to be petted or scratched and can be a bit moody, sometimes reactive. No small children under 12 He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped Adoption fee is: $150.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. He’s still figuring out who he can trust, and he'll need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to go slow and give him space to decompress. I started my rescue journey practically hairless, covered in fleas, raging skin allergies, crusty eyes, and overall shambles. Although I had humble beginnings, I have thrived with the right amount of love and care. I have grown accustomed to my spa days and brushing, as well as my shirts, hoodies, or whatever clothes I am dawned in. I have found my voice and will not hesitate to let you know how I am feeling, which may include a potty break, attention, brushing, a treat, or just to have a conversation! I get along with dogs big, small, old, and young! However I am not cat friendly. I get along with the two legged roommates young and old, or humans as you call them. Willie is a sweet and feisty 12 year-old Maltese mix who loves his person, food, dog sister, and all cool tile floors. This charming little guy was saved from the Euthanasia list at Pasadena Animal Shelter with his sister, Callie. Their older owners turned them in when they could no longer take care of him. He needed a dental (over 9 teeth removed) and some skin warts to be removed. He has no problems eating dry food but is always up for some soft treats. While Willie takes awhile to get used to his environment, he shows his personality and wags his white fluffy tail in greeting to his visitors. Willie flourishes in the presence of his humans, all children and his fellow dog pack mates. He loves a good ear scratching and is thriving on shared moments of affection and serenity. While he is touchy on how he gets picked up due to his sensitive skin, he dreams of a forever home-just waiting for someone to help him become the best little buddy he was always meant to be.
