She arrived to us about a month ago with a detached foot, and after evaluation by our veterinary partners, her leg was amputated to give her the best chance at a pain‑free life. She has since fully healed, adjusted beautifully, and is now ready for her forever home.Despite everything she has been through, Button has remained a gentle, loving little dog. She gets around well on three legs and has a bright, affectionate personality that makes her easy to fall in love with. Her adoption fee is $500.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionAdopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Button, we’d be happy to help. Story
Keke is a very special girl. She will do well in a home with a medium sized family or one single peson that does not mind her clingyness. She is not house-trained so she will need to either be trained or be taken outside at LEAST twice a day. For this reason, I highly recommend someone who is active or outdoorsy. Our walks can range from 5 minutes to an hour. She doesn't really like the rain when the grass is wet however if she has to go she will. When I first got Keke from the shelter, I was lucky in the sense that she could eat almost anything; however, nowadays she is a little more picky, especially if she smells or sees a better option. I homemake her own food using pasta noodles, ground turkey, chicken hearts, veggies, and supplements; however, she also really enjoys the Just Food for Dogs BOXED food. She will eat dry food as a LAST resource and doesn't really like any of the store brand wet foods (to my knowledge). Would be great with a family/person with one other SMALL dog.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Sam I Am is a 3‑year‑old Poodle mix weighing 8.4 pounds, and he’s a gentle little soul who came to us as a stray with severely matted fur. After a much‑needed grooming and veterinary care, he’s feeling so much better and is ready to find a home where he can feel safe and understood.Sam I Am is very nervous at first and would likely not do well in a home with young children who may not understand boundaries. He does best when people go slow with him, giving him time to build trust. Once he realizes he’s safe, he becomes incredibly sweet and affectionate. He can get overwhelmed around hyper or high‑energy dogs, but he has done well with calmer companions. His adoption fee is $450.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Sam I Am, we’d be happy to help. He’s a tender, sensitive little dog who just needs a patient home where he can feel secure and loved. 🐾✨
