Story
Lux was rescued from a family who could no longer keep him due to his age and lack of training. As a puppy, he was left outside in a crate on a rainy day with his food beside him. I took Lux home as a foster, intending to care for him until he found his forever family. ( that was in 2017) Lux struggles with anxiety and quickly formed a strong bond with me. He does best when he can stay close to his person and may become anxious when left alone. He has lived successfully with both a dog and a cat,he would occasionally play with the cat but also respected boundaries. Lux is not comfortable around children, as he has had little exposure to them and is easily startled by quick movements. He deserves a calm, loving home with someone who is dedicated to spending time with him, taking him on regular walks, and providing a large yard where he can safely explore and feel secure.

Nano has been chosen for our permanent foster also known as a bucket list foster. `Bucket List` is what we call our animals who will remain in permanent foster due to chronic health issues. These pets will not be made available for adoption but rather will remain in the care of Operation Kindness and our foster network.Reason for Foster: Chronic Kidney Disease, Anemia, Dry Eye, UTI, and Ear Infection Foster Time Frame: Permanent Foster Foster Care Plan: Nano is receiving pain medication and eye medication multiple times a day to help with discomfort. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment to ensure you are prepared to care for this sweet boy.
