Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This darling little girl is DARCY, a bit over 1 years old and 8 pounds.  She has pretty much reached her adult height and weight with maybe 1 pound to gain.  She is mostly Maltese and will need to be groomed every 2-3 months to keep her straight hair from tangling. DARCY is my shadow but she does not get in my way, she just likes to go wherever I go.  DARCY does go outside to play with a couple of Shih Tzu's and have fun.   DARCY can be a bit of a diva and a bossy little girl to the other dogs.  She just tries to keep them in order.  But she plays well with the others and she loves to cuddle.  She is about 75% potty trained.  I do not have a doggy door and let her out to potty with the other dogs and she does just fine.  She is completely crate and house trained.  I have no problem leaving her alone in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone.  She is not destructive or get into personal items. I do not have any cats so I do not know how she would get along with them.  It took DARCY about 2 days to get to know me and show her real personality so some patience is required but then she becomes your shadow and best friend. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. He is quite independent and does not get in your way. He loves laying on his blankets and doggy bed. I do NOT have any cats so I do not know how he would do in a home with cats. And he is very afraid of bigger dogs and will bark at them out of fear. Other than that he gets along with all of the small breed scruffies in my home. The face and front part of him is straight like a Maltese and his body is curly like a poodle, he has a short curly tail.  He may not be a pure breed but he is a preferred breed. Someone dumped this bonded pair of gals severely matted and full of fleas.  They are very happy now that they have been groomed.  They are in a foster home with another foo foo dog.  They are kinda shy and timid at first but bond to people.  They are crate trained and leash trained.  They use a doggie door to go into back yard that is securely fenced.  They love hanging out with people and on the furniture. This bonded pair will require a securely fenced yard and frequent grooming.    San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Friday – A Sweet Little Maltese Mix Looking for His Forever Home Friday came into rescue as a stray, and now this sweet little guy is ready to find a family who will give him love. He is currently underweight and will need a family committed to helping him get healthy and maintain a good weight. Friday is a Maltese mix with a heart as sweet as can be. He is gentle, happy, and incredibly loving. He enjoys being held and cuddled, although he can get a little wiggly when he decides he is ready to explore and wants down. He has a wonderful personality and is sure to bring lots of love and happiness to his future home. Friday gets along great with other dogs - we are unsure about cats. As with many dogs coming into rescue, he will need some help learning the ropes in his new home. Potty training and basic training will need continued work. Because of his Maltese mix coat, Friday will also need regular grooming and brushing to keep him comfortable and looking his best.  Friday is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, and current on vaccines. He is also current on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention and Bravecto for flea and tick prevention. His adoption fee is $350. Friday is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, dogs cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts. Jerry is a sweet, lap-loving little guy, about 1.5 years old, who follows his person everywhere. He came to us from South Texas after his owner moved away and left him behind. Jerry is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and walks nicely on a leash. He doesn't love being kenneled, so he'd do best in a home where someone is around often. He's vaccinated, dewormed, on preventatives, heartworm negative, and already neutered.

Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together.
