Story
Meet Sunni!
Sunni is a 4 year old apricot/red maltipoo that has been fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. We actually fixed Sunni a couple of years ago for his owners, and also intook in his son, Dexter, who got adopted. Sunni’s family expected to be able to keep him, but since they moved to a new home, they made the tough decision to downsize the number of dogs they had. So Sunni has been surrendered over to us.
Sunni is a very small boy under 10lbs. He has the most beautiful coat, and sweetest disposition. Sunni is a very gentle, sensitive boy who just loves his humans. Since moving into the new home, he had been anxious when left alone and would bark and whine when his family wasn’t with him, so we are looking for a home for him where his owners will be home with him a lot- especially in the beginning during the transition period. Sunni also lost his best friend pup back in December who he was very bonded with, so we are looking for a home for him that has a calm, friendly, small dog in it already for companionship. He has experienced a lot of change in a short amount of time with the move and losing his best friend, so we really hope to find a family for him that will be patient with him and shower him with love.
Sunni’s previous owners said they took him out to go potty quite a few times a day, and he rarely ever had an accident in the house. He does need to be groomed on a consistent basis, so we are looking for a family for him that understands the breed and their grooming needs.
Sunni really is the sweetest little guy, and would make a great companion for someone who is home a lot. We are looking for a home for him within 30 miles of Goodyear, as we do homecheck for safety. We would also prefer no young children in the home since they may scare him. A calm, quiet home would be ideal.
