Story
**COURAGEOUS COCO** Age 2-ish Phoenix AZ. Please help us welcome this adorable girl Coco to the FTP family. She is just as fashionable as the original Coco...Chanel that is! It is mind-blowing that we found this gorgeous girl roaming the streets alone and disheveled. All attempts were made to find her family...no collar, no microchip, no responses to our postings as found. Coco is ADORABLE! She is about 2yrs old and weighs in at 15lbs. She is such a lover and is great with all humans and dogs she has met. She is even good with kids! She went to the groomer for a much needed spa day and loved every second of her make over. We "think" she is a mix of Maltese and Bichon Frise. Coco is getting fully vetted, spayed, vaccines and microchipped. She is too cute to be around too long...so fill out an application today and come meet her!

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Haven, and I am a little Maltese girl who was born 5/15/19, and I weigh 7 pounds. I am very afraid of this big new world so would benefit from a socialized sibling to play with. I love other dogs! An all adult home please with a fenced in yard is a must. If you have been waiting for a little Maltese girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Haven 111624-20  July 11, 2025, 4:11 pm

Story
Snickers and Jojo are a delightful duo of Morkies. They are brother and sister and although they did not grow up in the same household they have always been close and have lived together for the last few years. They are fun loving and love to have fun. Both dogs like to play with toys and will carry them around with them. They are snuggly and love attention and will greet you like you are the King or Queen when you arrive home. They are good with all people and with other dogs. They walk well on a leash and enjoy walks. They ride well in the car as well. Snickers and Jojo are also house trained/potty trained. Snickers and Jojo are coated dogs (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Snickers and Jojo’s combined adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.

Story
Hi, Im Elara a 3-year-old Maltese/Yorkie mix with a little body, a big bark, and a dont-rush-me attitude.I was found as a stray, and the shelter was a scary place for me. I came in completely overwhelmed and shut down. I'm still learning how to feel safe and trust people it takes me time to warm up, and Im not the cuddly type (at least not right now). I can be growly when Im unsure, and I need a home that understands that Im a work in progress. But hey Im also smart, spunky, and I love to move. Ive got a rowdy, vocal play style and would thrive in a home where I can burn off energy and have structure. Ive got leash walks down, Im potty trained, crate trained, and I did okay at the groomer (though trimming my face? Still not a fan).I need to be the only dog in the home Im not looking for a canine roommate, just patient humans who will give me the time and space to come around on my own terms. If youre dog-savvy and like a project with personality, I might just be your girl.
