Special-Needs Maltipoo (6 years old, 11 lbs) She is a 6-year-old Maltipoo, about 11 pounds, and she is a special-needs dog who requires an experienced and patient owner. She struggles with anxiety around people and other animals, so she needs someone who truly understands fearful dogs and can provide a calm, stable environment. Despite her worries, she is a very sweet and gentle girl with a soft, loving personality. Once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and appreciates quiet affection. She would do best in a low-stress home with someone who can give her consistency, understanding, and the emotional support she needs. I want to find a home where she will be accepted exactly as she is and cared for with kindness, patience, and experience.

Story
This sweet, affectionate boy forms deep bonds with his person and does best with a calm, patient (preferably female) owner. When he feels secure, he is loyal and cuddly. He struggles with separation anxiety, which can lead to occasional accidents, and needs a home where someone is around often or willing to continue training. Because of his anxiety, he is not suitable for a home with children. While he has never bitten, he has shown anxious snapping around our one-year-old, so we don’t feel this is a safe environment. He may be anxious when first meeting other dogs but is not aggressive or food aggressive, and typically gets along well with dogs once settled. He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with someone experienced with anxious dogs who can offer patience and love. This decision comes from wanting the best and safe outcome for both him and our child.

This is my sweet 13-year-old girl. She is gentle, calm, and incredibly loving. She has been deeply loved her entire life and does best in a peaceful environment. Due to changes in our family, we’re looking for a quiet, loving home where she can comfortably enjoy her golden years. She has a happy personality but enjoys a slower pace now, and being close to her person. She would be happiest as an only dog or with other calm pets. She is loyal, affectionate, and truly special. This decision was made with her best interests in mind, and she will only be placed in a home that feels like the right fit. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a big heart, she would love to meet you.
