Hi whomever it is reading this, I’m Aeris. This is Captain. He has been with me on and off again but my family has had him since he was born. He will be 7 in December. He has been abused by my parents, so he is quite frightened and easily scared, which was the reason I took him in when I left living with them. He has been loved, he’s very playful and he is my protector. I’m looking for someone who can show him that life is so much more than what he had been through. A life of fun, happiness, patience, and kindness. He can be overprotective and easily overwhelmed, but he is gentle and is the opposite of boring. Milo loves to play, and go on long walks to sniff the world around him (though, he's a bit of a homebody and LOVES to just snuggle on the couch). Milo is nonshedding, house trained, 9 years old, and extremely intelligent. He knows a ton of commands: roll over, give paw, speak, play dead, sit pretty, spin around, so so many. He understands so much when you talk to him, it's kind of incredible. He tends to be very picky about the dogs and cats he befriends. Some dogs he'll love, others he'll hate. Milo also really loves playing with older children (4+), but seems quite fearful of younger kids. This is why we're are looking to rehome him. He has been a wonderful pet, no separation anxiety, very chill during work calls, affectionate etc but we have little kids now, and he's too stressed out in our home. We just want him to be happy, and we strongly feel that this means a home with no small kids.

He came from a litter of six and was the smallest puppy in the litter. To the best of our knowledge, he is approximately 75% Maltipoo and 25% Australian Cattle Dog. He has a medium-length black-and-white coat.Chinny is calm, sensitive, affectionate, and loves attention. Because he was sometimes bullied by his littermates, he may hide when he feels nervous or uncomfortable. Once he feels safe, his loving personality begins to show.We are looking for a patient, gentle home that will give Chinny time to adjust and build confidence at his own pace. He would do best with someone who can provide a calm environment, plenty of affection, and the reassurance he needs to feel secure.

Benji is a very loving, sweet and adorable little dog who has been part of our family since he was just 8 weeks old.He has grown up surrounded by love and is wonderful with both adults and children.He is affectionate, playful and has a very special place in our hearts. Making the decision to find him a new home has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I am currently pregnant and also have a young child, and unfortunately I don't have additional help at home. Because of this, it has become very difficult for me to give Benji the time, attention and care that he deserves. This is not a decision I am making because I love him any less. Quite the opposite I love him enough to want to find a home where he can receive all the love, attention and companionship he deserves. I hope to find a loving and caring family who will welcome Benji as part of their family and love him for the wonderful little dog that he is.

However, it doesn’t stop him from loving and trusting humans. He is doing well in his foster home and ready for a forever home. Malbu started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his house training. Malbu loves his trips to the doggie park and enjoys his daily walks. Malbu is a loving boy and will be a good family dog. Malbu’s Rescue Story Malbu was caught by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group. TNR rescue groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs and cats. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer caring for him loves him and didn’t want to see him back on the streets. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to save him and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 160 dogs waiting for homes. She really does not have space for another dog. However, she could not bear to see them suffering on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life. Malbu along with his 40 other buddies were all rescued and live together waiting for their own forever homes. Malbu had a thorough medical checkup. He had been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. Please give Malbu a loving home where he will never be left behind again. Maltese Mix Age: Senior Female, Spayed 15 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Kylie (a.k.a. Bitsy) was brought to the San Jose Shelter as a stray and in pretty poor condition. She was underweight, no use of her her back legs, missing fur, urine burns from incontinence. In spite of it all, she had a wonderful disposition. The shelter contacted us to pull her. She uses a cart and wears diapers for her incontinence. Here is what her current foster mom has to say about her: Bitsy (Kylie) is a loving, bossy, and lively dog. She loves going for walks or sniffing around the park. Bitsy will ask you to play by grabbing her stuffy and bringing it to you. She also enjoys enrichment activities like puzzles and snoops. She has gotten along with having a second foster dog in the house as well as strangers. She is a polite greeter on walks. Bitsy needs her bladder expressed 3-4 times a day. She sits perfectly still as you do so. At home Bitsy navigates the house just fine. She will try to rush out the door to go with you on errands and does happy hops when you come home.
