Story
I am only rehoming Kaia if it's the right fit. I am really sad to be writing this. Kaia came to me as a puppy mill pup, taken from her mom too soon and in poor condition. She is one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen, with a spunky, energetic personality who is also cuddly and chill once calm. She loves swimming, playing fetch, and hiking. She is a very active, healthy 10 lb fluff ball. She's also sensitive. She can be afraid of some kids and timid around some dogs, since she was attacked by two dogs when younger, so she needs time to warm up to new dogs. She sometimes doesn't like being picked up. Grooming and car rides give her anxiety, and she barks when she hears people at the door. Overall, she is a great dog once she feels comfortable. I've worked from home with her for 5 years and am now relocating to Santa Barbara for school. Finding a room for rent that allows her, even as an ESA, has been beyond challenging. She deserves a patient, loving home.
