Both dogs are hypoallergenic breeds. Cali is a 9-year-old female Maltipoo who has been part of our family since she was a puppy. Sadly, after my brother passed away, our work schedules have made it difficult for us to give her the time and attention she truly deserves.Cali’s best friend is Teddy, a 6-year-old male Cockapoo, and the two are extremely bonded. They both came from the same family as puppies, which is why we would really love for them to stay together in their new home.Both dogs are incredibly sweet, loving, and friendly. They’re affectionate, loyal, and enjoy being around people. They’re playful while still being calm-natured, and they get along wonderfully with each other. Just to be transparent, the only reason we’re asking for an adoption fee is because we’ve had so many people inquire who aren’t actually serious about adopting. While he warms up over time and allows more physical contact as trust builds, unfamiliar handlers, veterinary visits, and grooming can trigger discomfort. His previous owners also noted he may bark when left home alone, so adopters can consult a veterinarian for support with any separation-related anxiety. Archer has a positive history with other dogs, no known history with cats, and needs a calm setting without the hustle and bustle of young children. Archer will do best in a patient environment that lets him move at his own pace-letting him approach on his terms, using gentle underhand petting, and performing regular consent checks.
