He can be a little nervous at first, but with patience and kindness he begins to show his gentle personality. Montage is still working on his leash skills and will benefit from a home that's happy to continue helping him build confidence on walks. He has been social with other dogs in our care, though we recommend slow, thoughtful introductions. If there are children in the home, please have them present for a meet-and-greet and ensure they understand how to read and respect dog body language. 🌸 Sweet, shy little Maltese looking for a calm and loving home. This gentle 20-lb Maltese girl , Libby she is one of the sweetest souls you could meet. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she has a very calm and peaceful nature. She is extremely shy at first and will need a patient adopter who understands sensitive dogs and will give her the time she needs to feel safe. Once she feels comfortable, she is incredibly sweet and loving. Her ideal home would be a quiet house with a yard, preferably with another kind and confident dog who can help show her that the world is safe and help build her confidence. Because she is so shy, a calm household is very important. A home with adults only or older, quiet children would be best. She would do wonderfully with someone retired or someone who works from home and can provide a peaceful environment. This little girl doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and a gentle heart. In return, she will become a deeply loyal and loving companion. Livvi and her sisters were found in a wash in San Bernardino infested with hundreds of ticks and abandoned there to either die of starvation or taken by coyotes. We thank god the finder reached out for help. Livvi is estimated to be about 3 months young.  We believe her breed to be a Maltese mix and currently 9 lbs. She has been to the vet, de-ticked, groomed and put on meds for her scabs on her skin to heal.   She was thoroughly tested and everything came back negative.   No matter what Carly's life was for the first 3 months of her life she is very sweet and loving.  She will never have to be without food or love again.   She loves to play with toys during the day and she sleeps all night!    Livvi is ready to make some family very happy.
