Churro is a kind, loving, and affectionate dog. I never imagined that I would have to give him up. He has just turned 2 years old, and he truly is the love of my life.My life has become very challenging. I have a busy work schedule, my daughter is going through a physical health condition, and unfortunately, I don’t have the support I need at home when it comes to caring for Churro.Churro has been my little source of comfort. Whenever I see him or hug him, all my stress seems to melt away. He brings so much love and happiness into my life.Making the decision to find him a new home is heartbreaking, but I cannot allow my circumstances to deprive him of the happy life he deserves.I am looking for a loving, caring, and responsible family who will give Churro the affection, attention, and happiness he deserves. My greatest wish is for him to find a forever home where he will be deeply loved and cherished.

Hi whomever it is reading this, I’m Aeris. This is Captain. He has been with me on and off again but my family has had him since he was born. He will be 7 in December. He has been abused by my parents, so he is quite frightened and easily scared, which was the reason I took him in when I left living with them. He has been loved, he’s very playful and he is my protector. I’m looking for someone who can show him that life is so much more than what he had been through. A life of fun, happiness, patience, and kindness. He can be overprotective and easily overwhelmed, but he is gentle and is the opposite of boring. Unfortunately I’m moving and won’t be able to take him with me. If you think you can take care of him, please contact me or reach out!

Story
Milo loves to play, and go on long walks to sniff the world around him (though, he's a bit of a homebody and LOVES to just snuggle on the couch). Milo is nonshedding, house trained, 9 years old, and extremely intelligent. He knows a ton of commands: roll over, give paw, speak, play dead, sit pretty, spin around, so so many. He understands so much when you talk to him, it's kind of incredible. He tends to be very picky about the dogs and cats he befriends. Some dogs he'll love, others he'll hate. Milo also really loves playing with older children (4+), but seems quite fearful of younger kids. This is why we're are looking to rehome him. He has been a wonderful pet, no separation anxiety, very chill during work calls, affectionate etc but we have little kids now, and he's too stressed out in our home. We just want him to be happy, and we strongly feel that this means a home with no small kids.

MEET NORMA... Norma is a sweet, tender-hearted Poodle mix who spent far too long fending for herself as a stray on the streets of Stockton. When she first arrived at our shelter, she was almost unrecognizable—her coat had become completely grey from the dirt and elements of street life. Thankfully, Norma got the fresh start she so desperately needed. Our groomer found her to be an absolute sweetheart and wonderfully easy to handle. After a careful shave and a much-deserved bubble bath, we discovered the beautiful girl underneath: Norma is actually white with lovely touches of tan! Norma can be a little timid when she first meets someone, but give her some time and she warms up beautifully. Once she feels safe, her gentle personality begins to emerge. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion to keep her company. Because Norma is a sensitive girl, we’re looking for a home with children 12 and older and an adopter who will give her the patience and reassurance she needs to settle in. After spending so much time on her own, Norma is ready to discover the joys of being someone’s cherished companion. Come meet this lovely girl and watch her blossom into the happy, beautiful dog she was always meant to be.

Meet Judy! 💕 This sweet 5 year old Terrier mix is 12 pounds of pure love. Judy is a total lovergirl who adores being around people and soaking up all the affection she can get. She is incredibly gentle and absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and spending time with her favorite humans. Judy does wonderfully in a group of other small dogs and would be happy either as the only dog in the home or with some furry little siblings. She’s an easygoing, affectionate girl who doesn’t ask for much other than a loving person to call her own. If you’re looking for a gentle little companion with a whole lot of love to give, Judy would be so happy to meet you! 🥰
