Say hello to Via 8 year-old Miniature Poodle weighing 13 lbs. Via is affectionate and loves everyone she meets. She was a breeder release that came from Missouri and has made her way to Colorado in search of our new home. This girl arrived with some expansive, hair loss and bad skin, which has been growing back since she has been in her foster home. Via is loving all the TLC and can’t wait to settle into her forever home, she will be able to go home after April 23 when she receives her dental and spay. Meet Jewel 💎 Jewel is an adult female Maltese, estimated to be around 6–9 years old, currently being fostered in Fort Collins and looking for a patient, loving home. She can be shy and a bit skittish at first, and will need someone willing to go slow and allow her time to feel safe. We don’t know much about her past, but it’s clear she likely wasn’t well socialized. The good news is she continues to make progress every day and grows more confident with gentle consistency and kindness. Jewel is doggy door trained and does well when taken out regularly for potty breaks. She is improving with crate training and is learning that her kennel can be a safe, cozy place to relax. With routine and structure, she continues to blossom. She would do best in a calm home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels secure, she forms a very sweet bond with her person. Jewel is being fostered with a professional trainer who specializes in helping shy or unsocialized dogs build confidence. She is working on socialization and continued progress in a safe environment. A free training session will be provided to her adopter to help ensure a smooth transition and set her up for success in her new home. If you have a gentle heart and patience to help her continue building confidence, Jewel would love to meet you 🤍 Please reach out if you’re interested in giving this little girl the peaceful forever home she deserves.
