MEET ME IN CONNECTICUT! I JUST MOVED HERE! Hi there. My name is Zio, and I am a handsome male Maltipoo born on 11/18/22, making me now 3 years old, and I weigh 12.5 lbs. Through no fault of my own, I was surrendered by my owner to 4 Little Paws Rescue so I could live a better life. I was being bullied by a doggy housemate, which was very hard on me since I am a very sensitive boy and can easily get my feelings hurt! I am now living in a foster home, chilling out, and having some fun while getting ready for adoption. I am a sweet little guy, shy at first when I meet new people, but I warm up quickly. I am friendly with other dogs, but truly, my heart belongs to people, and I will curl up beside you every chance I get. I like playing with stuffed toys, shaking them about, but not keen on sharing them with other dogs. I am well-behaved, rarely bark, and I am working on some housebreaking, and doing well. I will walk on a leash with a bit of encouragement, and I do not mind a car ride. I am okay in a crate, but I get to roam freely at my foster home. My foster mom says I am smart, loyal, sensitive, and sometimes just need my own space. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! PLEASE READ BELOW FOR OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK MEET DEXTER the MALTI-CHON-POO North New Jersey Dexter is an 18lb 10 yo Maltese-Bichon-Poodle and the sweetest little dude. Dexter was loved his whole life but unfortunately his elderly owner could no longer care for him. He is loving, gentle, and quiet and would be a wonderful companion for someone who is retired or works from home and wants a buddy to hang out with. Dexter loves to nap and EAT and enjoys meandering around the yard sniffing all the smells. In his former home he didn’t have a yard so he is accustomed to going for walks. He lived with another small breed dog in his former home and currently in his foster home and doesn’t have much interest in them. He very much prefers his human but he is pretty independent as well. He is just an all-around easy going guy that is just happy to have a soft bed and yummy food with some pets and loving in between. Dexter is not a fussy eater but his tummy was a bit of figuring out. He landed on a basic kibble and has been regular since. He was brought UTD, HW negative, had a dental and cherry eye removal (it won’t come back), full blood work and xrays, he is neutered, and he is housebroken for outside but he will use potty pads if available. He is a loving little guy that deserves his special person for the holidays.
