Note: Currently, Jet is in Korea, but will arrive in Toronto on Nov 9 once adopted. For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please click here.Adopt Jet, the Tiny Maltipoo Mix Who Burrows Into Your ArmsQuick FactsBreed: Maltipoo mix · Sex: Female · Born: August 25, 2024 · Weight: 2.6 kg · Location: Korea · Traits: Affectionate, playful, people loving · Health: Spayed, vaccinated, treated for skin and coronavirus infections after rescueBackgroundIn August 2026, Jet was rescued together with her friend Alpha from an animal hoarding situation in Gwangju, Korea, where about ten dogs and forty cats. The moment her kennel was opened, she came straight out and into the rescuer’s arms. Since then, she has been staying at our partner shelter. She’s healthier now and slowly putting on weight.PersonalityJet is a sweet, cuddly little girl. She burrows into your arms whenever she wants to be held, which is most of the time. Her favourite things are food and cuddles, and she’d be happy to be in your arms all day long. New people, places, and things make her happy and excited, not nervous. She may give a few happy barks, then walk right up to you and ask to be picked up. Her energy level is moderate. Loud noises scare her, so a calm home will suit her well.CompatibilityJet loves people. She greets strangers with a wiggle and asks to be held right away. She’s just as friendly with men as she is with women. She has spent time with preschool children and did well with them. As with any dog, time with children should be supervised, and parents should take full responsibility for teaching both their children and their dog how to interact safely. There’s no spot on her body she minds being touched.Jet loves running and playing with other dogs, but she can get a little jealous at times. She also has a very big appetite and doesn’t like other dogs coming near her while she eats. This likely comes from her past. As the smallest dog in the hoarding situation, she had a very hard time getting enough food to survive. It’s best to feed her separately so she can eat in peace without feeling stressed. Before her rescue, Jet lived in a home with many cats, so cats won’t be new to her. We haven’t seen how she gets along with them, though, so a slow, gradual introduction, plenty of patience, and enough space for each of them to have their own retreat would be important.Behaviours & TrainingJet uses pee pads indoors. She’s still practicing walking on a leash and harness. She’s well behaved at the vet and easy to handle for baths, nail trims, and brushing. She knows “sit” and “wait.” She loves chewing on her toys. She’s happiest when she can eat and play with her toys close to her human. She may bark briefly when guests arrive or when she hears noises outside. When she’s left alone, she paces and waits by the door, so she may have some separation anxiety during the adjustment periods. A home where someone is around most of the day, along with short practice absences that slowly get longer, will help her feel secure.Health & DietJet is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She also gets monthly parasite prevention. Right after her rescue in August 2026, she tested positive for canine coronavirus and had some hair loss and skin problems. She was treated for all of these and is doing well now, with no skin or digestive issues. She’s scheduled for a dental cleaning soon. She has no known allergies. She has passed the veterinary screening and is healthy and ready for a forever home.Jet is still gaining weight, so she currently eats three meals a day, with some puppy food mixed into her kibble. She hasn’t shown any food allergies or sensitivities so far.Ideal HomeJet would be happiest as the only dog in a home where someone is around most of the day. She’s sweet, smart, obedient, and gentle with people, so first time dog owners are welcome too. Someone who is retired and has lots of time to spend with her would be a great match. She doesn’t ask for much, just love and lots of snuggles.Jet has already come a long way, from a very sad hoarding situation to a happy girl who runs into every open pair of arms. She’s ready for a family who will keep holding her.

🍿 MISS POPCORN IS STILL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY! 🍿Our little Maltese girl is officially all healed from her dental, feeling GOOD & ready to find her people! 🥹❤️🐾 Popcorn🎀 Female Maltese🎂 Estimated 5–6 years old✂️ Spayed💉 Fully vaccinated & dewormed📍 Microchipped🐶 Good with other dogs🐱 Good with catsPopcorn has come out of her shell SO much & her playful little personality is really starting to shine. She’s happy, silly & finally getting to enjoy life without a painful mouth. ❤️Before her dental, Popcorn had broken teeth & a gum infection, so we believe she had been living with quite a bit of pain. Because of that, she could be nippy when anyone touched around her face. She still is cautious around her face especially with grooming.Since having her painful teeth removed & her mouth cleaned up, her foster mom says she’s been completely fine with her face being touched. However, we want her future family to know her history because she may need a little time to build that same trust with new people.Because of this, we think older, respectful kids would be the best fit.Living without pain is still new for this sweet girl. Now she just needs a family to show her how good life is supposed to be. 🥹🍿❤️Who’s ready to give Miss Popcorn her happily ever after? 🏡Located Hamilton Ontario Adoption fee: $675If interested in adopting Popcorn, please submit an application from our website www.furwarriors.com please note… we will not consider any homes without an application.

Story
Currently fostered in Texas Luna is from a terrible cruelty case. She is quite skittish, but even with the horrible conditions she came from she very gentle and sweet. She will need a fenced in yard and someone willing to work with her on leash and harness training. She is not a bad dog on leash, just very fearful and I would be afraid she would run away of she gotten out of her harness and she will not just come to a stranger. Once Luna is used to you, and she bonds with her people, she is loving and playful, but timid, shy with new places and new people, she is never aggressive, and not a mean bone in her body. She has met several dogs, cats and will do ok with older kids but is fearful of young children, she does not like being chased. She needs a lot of love, some encouragement and confidence building. Luna needs more socializing and has come from an extremely rough upbringing so she needs an adopter that understands this and is willing to give her some grace. Preferably a dog savvy adopter used to working a bit with timid dogs from bad situations. She is NOT feral, and she is never ever mean or nippy. She is a purebred miniature poodle. Weighing 9 .12 pounds and apx 3-5 years young. She is a dog that needs to be groomed regularly! She had to be shaved almost bald after being rescued. She was so terribly matted that she was unable to properly walk or go potty. It is amazing how far she has come in just one month! We can’t wait to see her shine ✨ Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. Story
Currently fostered in Texas Pepper is a male, miniature poodle. Apx 8 years old and 9.25 pounds. He is the SWEETEST . He wants to be held and coddled and loved on ALL the time. He is an equal opportunity lover boy. He would love a family that is home a-lot or retired. He is a gentle very sweet soul. He walks on leash and harness, he will follow you everywhere. He loves to be held and carried like a baby. He wants a family and love so badly. Pepper does appear to be getting some arthritis in his hips/rear leg area. You just have to be gentle with him and he needs dog stairs for the couch/bed so he is not jumping down, just to protect his joints. There is no injury or anything you can just hear and feel his older man snaps crackles and pops 🙂 as we all do over time. Good nutrition, and probably a joint supplement will go a long way for this little man. He may need some anti - inflammatories in the winter or rainy months but he does not appear in pain at all here and he walks and gets up on his hind legs to say high and runs around just fine. We can’t wait to see him spoiled rotten! Pepper is from an awful cruelty case in which he was confiscated. He has led a horrific life and we want to see him live his best years moving forward !!
