Story
Harley is a sweet, gentle, 35lb, 12-year-young "doodle" whose world was turned upside down when her beloved guardian sadly passed away. Now, this lovely girl is ready to fill someone else’s home with warmth, loyalty, and plenty of tail wags.  Harley is the perfect blend of laid-back cuddle companion and backyard superstar. One minute she’s your devoted couch buddy, happily soaking up snuggles, and the next she’s outside, chasing a ball and barking at squirrels with surprising enthusiasm.  She has the most endearing personality and isn’t shy about showing it - especially when you come home or someone visits. Expect an exuberant greeting, and a stuffed animal presented to you as a prized gift to celebrate your return. Harley has been thoroughly checked by the vet and is in good overall health, with no mobility issues. She previously experienced some UTIs, but those have been treated and resolved. She has a few non-concerning lumps and bumps that the vet is not worried about. She’s a perfect lady at vet visits and grooming appointments. Nail trims aren’t her favorite activity, but she tolerates them like a champ. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. In the car, Harley can be a little nervous but despite this she does travel well. She is housetrained, knows her basic commands, and walks well on leash. She even has a few tricks which she’s happy to show off for a tasty treat. Although she is crate trained, she doesn’t require one and can be left home alone without issue. She has lived with older children (ages 11 and 12) but is untested with very young children. Currently, Harley shares her home with another dog who prefers to be left alone, and Harley is an obliging housemate.  She will growl and snap if she’s lounging with her human and another dog invades her space; Harley's good communication skills let the other dog know she's not pleased and have  never resulted in anything physical like a bite. Managing her environment to make sure she has her own space deters this behaviour and helps her feel secure. She has stayed with a cat before and ignored the cat. Harley’s young at heart spirit shines bright.  Now she is waiting for a cozy home to live out her golden years and shower her forever family with all her love!   February 18, 2026, 8:24 am

Story
At 10 years young, Angus is a devoted companion to his foster mom and truly shines when he’s with his human. Poor Angus came to us in need of a dental, with a very painful mouth. TEAM completed his dental and he is on the road to recovery and his new life! He loves being around his people as much as possible and is happiest simply sharing space, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or hanging out in the kitchen. He would really love an adopter or family that is home often to keep him company in his senior years. Angus gets along well with other dogs, especially smaller ones, like his foster siblings. While he’s not interested in rough-and-tumble play, he enjoys their presence and coexisting peacefully. He is also good with cats! While Angus enjoys some time in the backyard, he really enjoys being comfy indoors. We hope to find out how much he loves the outdoors in warmer weather. Angus will do best with a confident, experienced adopter who can provide clear boundaries and gentle guidance. He thrives with someone who understands dogs and can offer structure along with plenty of affection. Due to his needs, a home without children under 12 is recommended. If you’re looking for a loyal, steady companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Angus may be the perfect match. Please complete an adoption application if this adorable boy might be your new family member.

Story
Hi… my name is Kupong 🤍 I’m a 7-year-old silver Poodle girl, only 4kg — small enough to hold in your arms, and hoping to stay there for the rest of my life. I was rescued from a euthanasia list. I was waiting quietly for my name to be called. If help had come a little later, I might not be here to tell you my story. Someone once loved me — I’m sure of it. I know how to live in a home. I recognize the warmth of human touch. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I walk right up and let myself be held, as if being in someone’s arms is the most natural place in the world. So sometimes people wonder… what happened? How did I end up alone? I don’t have the answer. But I still choose to love people. I truly love being near you. I’ll come up without hesitation, look into your eyes, and gently ask for affection. With my tiny body, I lean in close — as if I’m checking, “You won’t leave me too… right?” --- Because being left alone is the hardest thing for me. When I’m home by myself, I feel anxious. I look for footsteps, for familiar sounds, for any sign that I’m not alone forever. Maybe it’s because I’ve been left behind before. Being alone again feels especially frightening to me. For me, a house isn’t just a space. It’s a promise — a promise that says, “I’m not leaving you.” There’s something else I need you to know. I’m extremely sensitive about the back of my neck. If someone grabs my scruff, I shrink instantly. I may flinch or freeze in fear. It’s more than simple sensitivity — it could be a memory my body hasn’t forgotten. I need gentle hands. I need to be handled with respect. Rather than force, I respond to softness — almost like you’re speaking to me through touch. --- As a Poodle, I carry the traits my breed is known for: • Very intelligent • Deeply attuned to human emotions • Strongly bonded to my person I’m quick to notice your mood. I want to be near you. I form deep attachments. And that means I may struggle more than some dogs when left alone. My love runs deep — and so does my need to feel secure. I’m 7 years old. Not a puppy, but not old either. I still have many beautiful years ahead of me to share with someone. I’m not looking for a temporary stop. I’m not looking for another goodbye. I’m waiting for a home where I won’t be left behind again — a family who is around often, who chooses patience over harsh discipline, and who understands that love, once broken, needs reassurance to stay strong. I already know how to love people. Now I just need someone who will protect that love until the very end. From a euthanasia list… to your arms. Will you be my last family? 🤍🐾
