WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Ava – Small Package, HUGE Personality & even Bigger Heart! Ava is a 1-year-old, 12-pound bundle of fluff, fun, and pure sweetness. We’re guessing she’s a Maltipoo mix, but honestly her official breed is “Professional Cutie Pie.” This little lady absolutely adores people. Like, REALLY adores them. If you’re looking for a dog who thinks you hung the moon and exists just to be your best friend, Ava is your girl. She’s affectionate, friendly, and has never met a lap she didn’t immediately claim as her own. Ava gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is especially close to her sister Zsa Zsa (Chihuahua/.Affenpinscher mix?) Together they weigh only about 16 pounds total, so you could adopt TWO adorable best friends for a home full of blissful happiness! We would love to see them adopted together if possible because they’re a darling duo – but Ava should also do just fine on her own as long as she has a person to love. And speaking of talents… Ava is not just cute, she’s ENTERTAINMENT. Offer her a treat and she’ll happily show off her signature move: a happy little dance in a circle on her hind legs like she’s auditioning for “America’s Got Paw Talent.” It’s impossible not to laugh when she gets going! You won’t find Betty and Hazel at the shelter.These bonded sisters are currently in a foster home, where their true personalities have finally had room to emerge.They’re gentle. Sensitive. And complete snuggle bugs.They sleep curled beside their foster mom all night without moving. They’re fully house trained. They don’t cause trouble. They just want to be close to their person.They can be shy at first, especially with men, but once they feel safe, their affection is constant and deep. Betty and Hazel do well with cats and dogs. The best home for this bonded pair is a quiet home without small children. They’ve already lost the only home they knew. Meet Curly!

Curly is a tenderhearted 1-year-old who weighs just 9 pounds. He is heartworm and Chagas negative... He is shy and I do not think people were very nice to him. He was found on the streets .... He doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body but makes us corner him to pick him up. He lets us love on him but he always has a worried look on his face. When we are outside with the dogs, he will hang back and watch us or come up and give a nose boop. He wants to trust... I feel he will thrive in a home that is quiet and less chaotic than the rescue. He needs a patient, kind human who will make him feel safe. Curley gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue. 

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

If you believe senior dogs deserve the best chapters of their lives, Rose agrees with you.At just 6lbs, this sweet Miniature Poodle mix (DOB 2/7/2014) may be the oldest dog in our care, but she still has plenty of spunk packed into that tiny body. Rose was picked up as a stray and brought to ACS, where she was recovering from a dog attack and suffering from significant dental disease. Thankfully, she`s now safe in a loving foster home, getting the care and comfort she`s needed for far too long. Despite everything she`s been through, Rose is still sweet, affectionate, and ready to give her whole heart to someone special. Senior dogs like Rose don`t ask for much.
