Location: Mayer, MN Pepper Ann is a special kitten. He is an Orange Tabby Manx. Manx kittens are known for having short stubby tails, hind legs are longer than their front legs, giving them a distinctive hop in there walking, being affectionate and friendly. Pepper Ann is a very active kitty who is very determined to make everyone like him and play with him (cats, dogs, humans). He really does not take no for an answer. When he gets tired it is time to snuggle on someone doesn’t matter if you have two legs or four. Manx cats are normally a medium sized cat when full grown. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Meet Bisque! Bisque is a young, energetic boy who’s come a long way from his days as a neighborhood stray. He’s quickly adapted to the comforts of indoor life—he’s great with his litter box, keeps his paws off the counters, and knows to use his scratching posts like a gentleman. With his thick, plush, and oh-so-soft fur and his adorable tailless look (he was likely born that way), Bisque is as striking as he is spirited. He enjoys petting and attention, though he’s not quite a lap cat just yet. What he really loves is interactive playtime! He’s been practicing walking on a leash—he does best once you get him going, though he prefers a collar—and he’s such a smart boy that he could probably learn tricks or even an obstacle course with a little patience and consistency. Bisque gets along well with other cats after proper introductions, though he’s still learning how to play politely and does best with confident, tolerant feline friends. Because he can get overstimulated and sometimes plays a bit rough with hands, Bisque would thrive in a cat-savvy home without small children. A household with teens who can help channel his playful energy would be ideal. Full of personality, charm, and curiosity, Bisque is ready to find an active, loving home that can keep up with his fun-loving spirit and help him continue to grow into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.
