Manx kittens & cats in Lago Vista, Texas

Nala is 10-11 years old. She is small because we were told her mom was a juvenile cat, she’s less than 15lbs. She is incredibly sweet and constantly wants to be around people and loves to be pet. She also loves her food and knows when dinner time is and lets you know. She is completely indoors, we once attempted to see if she was interested in going outside and she had no interest. We have a dog at home that she does well with and is excellent with children. We are unsure how she would do with cats as she’s never been around them. Recently our daughter has had some severe allergic reactions and she also has asthma which has increasingly become harder to get under control. After seeing an allergist we learned that she has a developed an allergy to cat dander and we are unfortunately needing to rehome Nala since our daughter can no longer have contact with her.

Curious, Sweet, Playful With Manx for the Memories, you're actually getting part kitty, part bunny! This adorable, friendly guy hops around like a bunny and even has a cute little bunny tail to match! Manx is super sweet and loves people. He’s not a needy boy, though – if you’re busy, he will happily entertain himself. Manx doesn't let his bunny-hop gait stop him from playing and running around! He loves playing fetch, chasing wand toys, and munching on catnip toys. He will make little noises when he's playing or wants attention as his way of telling you how excited or happy he is! He obsesses over your shoes and purse (he might just wanna know where you've been, or maybe his favorite movie is The Devil Wears Prada). He loves a cozy spot... any nook, box, bucket, or cave he can lay in is his jam, especially if there's a soft blanket on the bottom. He also loves his scratching tower and scratch pads, and he never scratches furniture! Manx is actually a Manx cat, a tail-free orange tabby boy who is extra cute and fuzzy. Along with being a Manx he was born with Manx Syndrome, which means his spine and spinal nerves didn't develop normally; he needs his human to press gently on his bladder three times a day to "express" it and help him go pee. It is super easy once you get the hang of it, and APA! will show you how! His foster just plops him onto a pee pad, puts a Churu treat next to it to distract him, and then she can easily express him in 15-30 seconds. She says this process takes less time than she spends on litterbox duty for her own cats! Since he's incontinent, Manx requires some extra medical care, which right now includes a special diet and some meds, and he’s good about all of that. Manx has lived with other cats and with dogs and is fine with them as long as they’re respectful and friendly to him. He’s really a people cat and loves people the best, including kids. The perfect forever home for Manx is one with people who can continue his routine, which is working great for him (and it's so easy), as well as give him lots of love and attention! He would happily live with other cat-friendly cats and most dogs, but he's really all about his people and just wants to be wherever you are. Cuddle-queen, Affectionate, Charming Meet Zendaya! Zendaya is a gorgeous Manx with a heart as warm as her calico coat. Her green eyes are enchanting! She’s a playful, curious girl who loves spending quality time with her humans. While she enjoys all kinds of toys, her current favorite is a silicone one that keeps her entertained for hours. This cuddle queen has a high affection level—whether it’s napping together, squeezing your arm for snuggles, or simply being in your company, Zendaya thrives on love and connection. She’s a gentle communicator, greeting you with a sweet meow when you enter the room but otherwise remaining calm and quiet. Zendaya has been diagnosed with feline hyperesthesia, a condition in which she is extremely sensitive to being touched in certain areas, making her prone to overstimulation and anxiety. It’s well-managed with two medications. Despite this, she’s remains a happy, people-loving cat who shows no signs of her condition disrupting her joy or love for life. Her only true need is a compassionate and understanding adopter who can revel in the love and affection she shares so generously, be aware and respectful of how and when she wants her pets, and provide her daily meds. She can obviously still be interacted with and touched regularly, but it needs to be on her own terms to avoid stress, anxiety, and overstimulation. Zendaya would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention, playing, cuddling, and sharing peaceful naps with her favorite humans. Great in a calm environment. Loves to nap. Loves a good (or any) meal. Non active at night. Most likely best in a single cat household. Not good with dogs. Good with furniture; except with shedding.
