🐾 Meet Juniper! 🐾 This sassy little Manx is about a year old and ready to find a home of her very own! 💕 Juniper absolutely loves dogs (yes, really!) and would do best in a home with a playful pup to hang out with. She’s not a fan of other cats, though — she prefers to be the queen of her castle 👑 (and trust me, she takes her title seriously). She’s mostly an indoor girl who enjoys lounging around the house but likes a little outdoor adventure now and then. She’s not a lap cat — think of her more as your quiet sidekick who’s happy just being near you, not on top of you. As much as I adore her, between my health issues and the fact that I’m technically not supposed to have a cat in my apartment (shhh 😅), it’s time for Juniper to find her forever home. 🐶 Dog-friendly 🚫 No cats, please 🏡 Indoor home preferred 💛 Small rehoming fee applies If you’ve got room in your heart (and maybe a dog who needs a best friend), Juniper would love to meet you!

Story
Hi! I’m Bob, a 4 year old Manx cat. That means I have legs that give me an adorable wiggle when I walk, and I have no tail. I love to stay with my human. I’ll follow you around the house and sit right next to you, or on you, when we watch tv. I’m an expert at rolling over and showing you my tummy. I’m very sweet. Bob was born in August 2020. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and micro chipped. Bob is negative for feline leukemia but positive for FIV. The virus is transmitted to other cats through a penetrating bite wound. Cats that are not aggressive are not at risk to contract FiV from him. Bob also has seasonal allergies for which he receives medication.

Story
Mira is a  beautiful bobtail. She is bonded with Micah and needs him as he is her friend and protector. They must be adopted together. Her estimated DOB is 3/18/2022.  After their owner died, they were left abandoned for almost 10 months, which explains why they are showing some fear as they relearn to trust.  When the new owner bought the house, he immediately contacted us.   We think they would settle down quickly with a new family. They were family pets, but have been through a lot.   They are both delighted to accept treats, even from your hand, and they love playing together, especially in the cat tunnel which makes crinkly noises they seem to love. Micah accepts petting now, but Mira is still wary. They've been with us a long time and have made good progress and now they are ready to enjoy a loving home where they can really relax and blossom!   We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. August 16, 2025, 10:55 pm
