Rollo came to the rescue with her three beautiful babies. She was the best momma, but she is now retired from ever having kittens again. It’s time she gets to enjoy just being someone’s best friend. Rollo has absolutely no tail giving her a little extra character to her already wonderful character :) . She is friendly with everything and everyone she meets. She is especially great with dogs, head butting them for pets. It’s very cute to watch. She is such a great girl and very quiet. She’s not a tiny little kittens like the ones she raised, but she’s equally as adorable and worth adopting. Miara is a  beautiful bobtail. She is bonded with Micah and needs him as he is her friend and protector. They must be adopted together. Her estimated DOB is 3/18/2022.  After their owner died, they were left abandoned for almost 10 months, which explains why they are showing some fear as they relearn to trust.  When the new owner bought the house, he immediately contacted us.   We think they would settle down quickly with a new family. They were family pets, but have been through a lot.   They are both delighted to accept treats, even from your hand, and they love playing together, especially in the cat tunnel which makes crinkly noises they seem to love. Micah accepts petting now, but  Miara  is still wary. They've been with us a long time and have made good progress and now they are ready to enjoy a loving home where they can really relax and blossom!   We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
