Story
This little boy's name is Mac, as he was left on our doorstep in a happy meal box. He's a spunky, loving kitten that just wants to be around people. He plays fetch, loves to climb and sit on your shoulder, and purrs when he sleeps on you. Mac loves to chase mouse toys and balls around the house, and would love to have a cat tree with a hammock. He's definitely interested in other cats and wants to be around them. He's had his first two rounds of vaccinations, with his final round booked for December. Our vet recommended getting him neutered when he's around 6 months as he's quite small at 3 pounds. He uses the litter box, but sometimes has accidents and needs to have his butt cleaned. He's just a kitten so he should grow out of it. He's truly a little sweetheart and just wants to love and be loved. Could you be his forever home?

Story
Zada is a sweet little girl with a kinky tail like her mom and 2 of 3 siblings. She was born in foster care after her mom came in pregnant. Her aunt and four two-week-old cousins came, too. She is fairly shy and will need some serious bonding time in her new home. She loves to play with her siblings and with toys of all kinds. Also likes to sit on the cat tree and watch the birds outside. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated and treated for parasites. Story
Mika the Manx Cat is a very special sweet, beautiful and healthy rescue between 1 to 1-1/2 years old in need of a forever home due to allergies. She's scared of everyone except us so any potential adopter will need understanding and patience. My husband and I found her living in a parking lot. We've since had her spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She's negative for leukemia and parasites. She has no bad habits. She doesn’t scratch furniture, jump on counters/tables, etc. She uses the litter box without fail. She’s independent and very easy to take care of. Must be an indoor cat only. She's timid so the ideal home will be calm. She'd be perfect for a working person/couple or seniors because she's low maintenance. She might do well with other pets if they're gentle. Of course we don't want to shuffle her around however if it doesn't work out, we'll take her back. She comes with all supplies needed. She's the sweetest cat ever!

Story
Pennie DSH manx cat that came to Murci's Mission when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She has an estimated birthdate of 06/19/2015.  Pennie has now been with Murci's Mission for 18 months. She has the personality of Shrek and on the surface level would gladly tell anyone new to stay out of her swamp, but she's still on the hunt for her Donkey, someone who will just keep talking and hanging out even when there may not be a lot of feedback. Not every relationship has to be exactly the same to be worthwhile. Pennie will be a great roommate for a household that doesn't mind adding a friend who give major introvert vibes.  Pennie is fine and ambivalent to dogs, cats and kids. She just be doing her own thing.  She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $0 and includes her medical records and a sample of the food she's been eating. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.   ##2092608##

Story
Monkey is a very sweet, active, and energetic Tabby Manx. He loves to be around people, play, have treats, and sleep in comfy beds. He was born with Manx Syndrome, which is similar to Spina Bifida in humans. Since he has no tail, it affects the nerves in his back end causing him to not be able to feel when he needs to use the litter box. He is able to poop and pee on his own but doesn't know when it is happening. To make sure he doesn't get constipated he is on a mainly wet food diet. To help with the incontinence he is in a diaper and a onsie or surgery recovery outfit to help keep the diaper in place. Monkey will need a home that understands his needs and is able to keep him clean and change him. He will need to have someone who knows the signs of when he might start getting constipated. He had been prescribed a medication to help keep him regular, but it became too much for his system so he was taken off of it and just given the wet food. Sometimes if he seems to be getting constipated he will be given some Miralax. As he's gotten older he hasn't needed it as often. Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for feline leukemia and aids. If you are interested or have questions about him please go to www.sccpets.com to fill out an application. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 10, 2025, 2:49 pm
