Abbie is a sweet but Timid little girl who came to fostercare at 2 weeks of age with her siblings, her mom and her pregnant aunt. As a typical kitten, I'd active and full of mischief. She will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. She has started her vaccinations, has been treated for parasites, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and is littertrained. Zoey and her sister were abandoned by their owner And a nice neighbor looked after them prior to coming to Second Chance Companions. Unfortunately they became pregnant and each had a litter of four kittens 2 weeks apart. They have short, kinky tails so are probably a manx mix. Amy is a longhaired brown tabby and Zoey is short-haired. 4 of the eight kittens also have kinky tails.They have spent recent time caring for their kittens but have become more playful as their kittens have grown. They have been spayed, microchipped ,vaccinated treated for parasites and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.July 26, 2024, 3:42 pm

Pennie and Kitten are an adorable and bonded, loving pair of manx kitties that came to Murci's Mission when their family could no longer care for them. They have an estimated birthdate of 06/19/2015.  They are both very friendly and outgoing. LOVE attention. Pennie is a bit more shy with strangers but very outgoing if she knows you. Kitten is best friends with anyone she sees. Both come when they are called, talk to you if you talk to them, very typical manx personalities. Kitten does sometimes "love bite" very gently, but worth noting so it doesn't startle anyone. Both are good with their litter box manners, and can cohabitate with dogs and children. They would make a lovely addition to any family with room in the home and heart for a pair of manx cats.  Each cat comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Their adoption fee as a pair is $50 and includes their medical records and a sample of the food they have been eating. Monkey is a very sweet, active, and energetic Tabby Manx. He loves to be around people, play, have treats, and sleep in comfy beds. He was born with Manx Syndrome, which is similar to Spina Bifida in humans. Since he has no tail, it affects the nerves in his back end causing him to not be able to feel when he needs to use the litter box. He is able to poop and pee on his own but doesn't know when it is happening. To make sure he doesn't get constipated he is on a mainly wet food diet. To help with the incontinence he is in a diaper and a onsie or surgery recovery outfit to help keep the diaper in place. Monkey will need a home that understands his needs and is able to keep him clean and change him. He will need to have someone who knows the signs of when he might start getting constipated. He had been prescribed a medication to help keep him regular, but it became too much for his system so he was taken off of it and just given the wet food. Sometimes if he seems to be getting constipated he will be given some Miralax. As he's gotten older he hasn't needed it as often. Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for feline leukemia and aids.
